I wonder if the fan of OK passed any type of American History class in his life. If memory serves me well, not a single white or black man is native to this continent. Wonder who has the litmus test 'belongs here'. I am an old man, an army vet, was a Republican until W and Cheney, with help of Rush, managed to turn the party into a bigoted faith based hate organization. As far as I am concerned, the person who contributes to this country is welcome to this country. History has proven while states rights need protection from the Feds, the states must follow the constitution. I haven't heard or met anyone from OK that I would want to rewrite the constitution. That's what they are trying to do. That worked out real well for the confederacy.

with that, let me respectfully say that you my not have been at your best in this thread.
i have 2 theories as to why this has happenend.

i used to play tennis on the high school team. i played my best when i was put up against a better player. i could often lose to someone who was ranked much lower than me, simply because i would "lower my game".

Figured it was something like that. But too many hits from the bong can also mess up ones game sometimes.
There was a lot of nastiness going on here for a while.

Now if Oklahoma has real balls they will stop takin' money from the FEDs.
That means big cuts in their budget.
Nobody likes budget cuts.
The unions will cry "what about our jobs."
The people will cry "what about our childrens education."
All the non-violent criminals will have to be released.
The people will say "Drugs are bad, M'Kay."
So when Oklahoma can cut its state budget and pay its own bills
then it will be able to play the real game.
Otherwise they are just waiting for the FEDs to hammer them with their budget.

when do you scholars think we lost states rights completely. if i had a guess i would say 60's great society. but i suspect it may have been earlier
