a buddy gave me an LED unit... these LED units are not like the cheap LED UFO units made in china... I will provide more information on these later... here are some pics.

i am currently using the LED unit for veg as it is supposed to be par with 600 watt units, but only runs on 1.1 amp of power... which works perfect considering I run 2000 watts worth of HPS... which totals 18amps.

not counting the aircon, light movers, co2, etc.

only on day 2 with the LED and the difference is quite noticeable... this brand of LED unit is definitely worth the investment if you're looking for something more without as much power consumption and heat.

Yeah there's a little heat produced by them, the small confined little veg area the LED system is in doesn't get over 80F... I run the LED unit 24/7 over the vegging plants.
