Growing with High Temps Possible? 85 Degrees Inside!

Hi all, newb here but a long time smoker. I have an unusual situation where my house ac is set at 85 degrees. Long story short I take care of a sick brother that can't handle it any cooler in the summer although in the winter the heat is about 76-78 (he uses a space heater also).

I will be here for about 2 years before finding more ideal conditions and would like to be up and running before then so I know what I'm doing by then as I want to eventually grow a fairly good amount.

I'm in Tucson so outdoor is out and the garage gets above 100 also.

Are there methods for a higher temp growing climate or, more likely, varieties that grow well in my situation? I have limited square footage (tent?) but am willing to spend what it takes to get going. I imagine led lights will be needed? The humidity is also very low but that can be dealt with easier.

Thanks,
Hasbro

use c02 then you will be right in the ballpark for temps right off the bat. if not get a portable ac unit with hoses and pipe the cool air into the grow cab/room. it would be about the same investment cost right out of the gate but the ac would cost more to run monthly especially at them temps.

I would say get leds and have a couple of fans and u should be good..Hps u would most likely need A/C and that would get exspensive unless ur not worried bout it just do leds and ull be alright in a tent/CO2 if u can too and ull be golden..JMO

I'm in a strictly controlled development and couldn't hang a little ac unit out my window.

Dinafem, so you're saying 85 degrees will work ok? The CO2 will drop the temps?

when ya run a Co2 set up your plants seem to like higher heat than if you're not running Co2. you will need to totally seal the grow room to run Co2. it might be cheaper if there is a door on the room you are going to use, pick up a small 110 window a/c it would be cheaper and safer than running Co2. you could set it on a small end table and catch the humidity drip in a bucket.

85 is nothing, might get somewhat airier buds, depending on strain.

people have grown successfully in 100+ heats and high humidity, just using good airflow.

ive grown successfully in 95+ heats and with no airflow lol, didnt flower in that heat, but were fine for weeks.

of course you will get the best results with 75.

but just cause you cant keep it in that spot, does not mean you shouldnt grow.

Yes 85 is fine boss exp if u wanna or can run CO2 it has to be above like 83 or something like for CO2 to take full effects boss..My room gets up to 90 without CO2 and no vent and all is fine just dont get above 110 then ull have probs...GL bro

Well, that's very encouraging, thanks. Now I'll start researching. I'll be using a charcoal filter. Anyone know of a quiet fan?
