Growing on equator + or - 22

Using this site i found out that the number of sunlight along the equator is averaging 12hrs per day ALL year round. I looked at Thailand and they also only have 12hrs. My question is: Becuase they only get 12hrs of sunlight per day does that mean that theyre plants go straight into Flowering. Obviously it works becuase we now have Thai haze, Thai Stick etc....But how does it work ? I.e. No Flowering?

it gets 12 hours of light... but very powerful light. Basically the plant grows so it can accommodate to the light given.

It's wierd how plants work... If you give the plant 20 watts of light.. the reason it wont grow so much is because it doesn't need to. If it makes 4-6 leaves with 3 branches.. its more than enough foliage to accommodate the light given...

But 1000 Watts of light = it has to make a shit load of leaves and branches so it can accommodate the light.

Get it? its kind of like.. more light = more work for them...Sunlight is powerful, so 12 hours of sunlight is more than enough to let the mother fucker grow!

You missunderstood my question. I wanted to know if the plants go straight into flowering becuase there is only 12hrs of sunlight per day, therefore not having anytime to veg.

i think they do go str8 into flower man.. correct me if i'm wrong, but thai's from what i know are typically sativas, which means they have a longer flowering period, i guess it makes up for the time lost out on veg in the long flowering phases..

dude in real life.. there is no such thing as flowering.. or vegging..

what i explained exactly is whats going on with natural outdoor.. Only 1 type of growth.. NATURAL. The sunlight has enough power/energy to be its "vegging" in 12/12.... and the plant knows when its ready to release flowers due to climate and weather change due to.. fall coming,.. plants sense fall by the weather... and temps..
