Growing differently need opinions

hey whats a hermie?
ps. when i have kids i will let them grow as much pot as they want (when their 18 or so), its just a plant, and hopefully by then it will be legal to grow and smoke it.
 
ahh dert ease up everybody parents diff and I know in the world everything is affected by everything but you gotta just be the best dad you are....and your kids will be a reflection of that!!...much love raising kids most people forgets means you have to teach them EVERYTHING...
 
yes.. hermies produce smokable buds.. but they infest your grow with seeds ( because they contain male parts ) .. this reduces the potency of the weed because the plant begins to direct its energy into seed production instead of THC production..

you will end up with buds, but the yield and potency will be affected..

it is advised that u remove or issolate hermies.. just the same with males.. .
males do nothing but mess up what your trying to create ( sinsemilla buds )
same with hermies.. they are going to pollinate your grow. not what u want. but u can still smoke! and u will have some more seeds to grow ( if u find that beneficial )

All cannabis has the potential to go hermie. Some plants will go hermie under optimal conditions. Other plants, most in fact, will go hermie as a response to stress. The level of stress a plant will tolerate before going hermie varies from plant to plant.
 
hey thanks i have a quike question about scrog/sog when you have the mother plants how do you keep them alive and not produce buds? is it something with the lightin or what. and to clone all you need to do is snip off a branch and stick it in a shot glass right?
 
yes.. t maintain a mother just dont expose her to Flowering light schedule ( 12hours on/ 12 hours off..)
a mother should be kept in Veg Light schedule ( 18 on/6 off or 24 on)
 
you can keep a plant in Veg state for as long as youd like... therefore when you find a viable mother ( one with good genetics and that you are sure is female ) and you would like to keep it, all u have to do is find it a home where it will be undistracted.. ( take the plant and put it in its own cabinet with some CFLs or flourescents or something thats not going to make it grow uncontrollably, just keep it going )
then you take clones as needed from this plant ( i.e. MOTHER )
this plant can last you years and will be the mainstay of your grow

yeah i second that.. pot is harmless... but comparing growing pot and axe murdering is the same type of thinking that got our drug of choice outlawwed in the first place.. thats just stupid

thats priceless.. i really thought that guy was mid 40s the way he was going on about his real estate and such...... but then when he said his age all the " HAHAs" and LOLs after every persuasive message made sense..

no biggy dude as long as you answer one question, what do you think about planting in windowsill using snow on the ground for reflecting light.
on sunny days, one cloudy days i would pt it in a small closet with cfls for the main grow but still mostly sun.
