It is one single piece . I use 20 x 100 visqueen cut 5 ft longer then the HH on each side. You stretch or pull it over and strategically fold the back in to look good and close it up. The sides are left 2 ft wider and a lot of soil is covered over. The front you can custom cut away the excess to have a door and a nice look. This is all done once hung over the supports. You should always position your hoop house if possible into your prevailing winds long ways. Not side ways.

PS. a hoop house is aero Dynamic and gets it's strength from the bends in the PVC hoop and the top and side stays. If you go using corners or a square structure wind can be a problem. I only use heavy poly string for the top and side stays. The back end of the top stay is secured to the fence and the front end is secured to a tree. If you have no close structure you will need a stake on each end.

So hoop house is the best way? How many feet do you put supporting PVC? Say yours is 10 feet do you put one every 2 feet so 5 in
total?

I don't understand your last question. I use nylon poly twine secured to a strong support on one side in my case my fence. It is then pulled tight and the half hitched to the top of each hoop until I get to the other end where it is secured to the other end support, in my case a tree.

Nirvana's "Ice" going purple, kinda fitting. That was in the dead of winter probably December to February. I pulled two more crops before summer outdoors. winter grows are so much more layed back without the bug issues, watering, heat, rippers etc.

It's probably too wet here for a winter crop like you run even with a greenhouse it would be really damp but I'll have see if spring is doable. Maybe if I put them out in march. I'll have to look at the day lengths closely.

You'll pull it off in March. That's when my last one goes out. I bet ya April will work too. They will be full enough in flower to finish by June and not revert.

Yeah I was thinking that at some point they're too far gone to revert. Do you veg indoors any first or just throw fresh clones out to flower? I don't have anywhere to veg indoors but I can get my hands on lots of fresh babies. Maybe throw them in like 2-3 gallons of soil each and pile them in like a SOG grow.

Yea, I indoor vegg them to about 2-3 ft. Use your sup lights and keep them awake.

Oh good idea. Duh. I was thinking they weren't bright enough for rapid growth but like I did before just need to make the day longer and the sun will do the rest.

What do you think yield would be? Would it be decent and worth my time? And should I try n find a good strain for my area or would it not matter since they will more likely then not go into flower when there mature enough?

I tested this last year.. made a simple 15$ G.H and added seed on 11-12 by 5-13 I had my 1st harvest..

taken in feb 2013

pulled clones for my 2013 fall harvest by 3-20-13

one of them on 4-2-13 carmelisous

by 4-30-13 BK

by 5-13
harvest 3 plants (small but it gave me a great gauge on what to do in 2013-2014 spring grow)

Out "winter" temps get about as low as 25-30 at the coldest.. but a cheap cover kept them alive during the night and in the day I would un cover them to allow full sun..

this year I will be using the same GH + about 12 clones for my spring harvest + fall moms
