Its where you cross a photo with a auto and some of the offspring will be more photo sensitive and trigger to flower about two weeks earlier. The semi needs to be back crossed to stablize the semi auto trait.
a fast version? auto genes are recessive isnt it? doesnt that cross result in photos?

That's nice how many times did you cross or did it just come that way. I was going for full auto but I like that size with shorter veg.
Ye they grow into proper plants. The only thing is you cant plant them out before mid may, i think under 15, 16 hours of light they will flower.

Honstly mate for me they are a game changer, there practlly a photo just more sensitive to the change in seasons. My photos we not finishing till mid oct, semis are usully down last week sept/first week of oct.
That's too long flower time for me lol its recreational here but plants cant be seen over fence. Photos for me would be too much labor, to train below a 5ft fence. I used to trash autos but now that I can run 12 flowering plants at a time running them 8-12 at a time all year around I'm kinda digging autos. 3 or 4 different a strains a grow 3 or 4 times a year just out of outdoor autos. Still cant beat a quality photo that's what i use inside for. But for the amount of time it takes and quantity pulled definitely a good option for city dwellers.

The growing 365 days a year is what I'm going for. Crossed with the nana glue should be a frosty treat able to be harvested every 100-120 days

Thats class bro, the dream ha. What kind of weather do you get? Atm its about 65-68 over, might get to the 90s if we have hot one. Its just september, october is a gamble, always mold.

I live in alamogordo new mexico, hot dry desert climate it's already been to 102°F normally 90's atm. Winters are short usually just 2 months January February. Has it's down side it hardly ever rains. We do have a monsoon season in june and July where it rains the most we get like 290 sunny days a year and have dust storms or black outs ground to sky dust black wall lol look up white sands national park its beautiful and 15min from me. Made me learn bud washing for sure lol

But if I go 30 minutes the other way it's on the mountain skiing, horse races, casinos, and 20° cooler atleast

Im in Ireland, nearly the exact opposite weather, id say we get 200 days of rain a year lol. In april there we had blazing sun, rain, hail and snow all in the one day ha, there is no predicting the weather here. That why choosing the right genetics is so important.

Hell yea bud, that's day and night difference. Lol definitely have to be a little picky with strain selection.

Little update to the growers choice seeds. I got my seeds from my buddy who has 4 plants right now and 2 of them turned out to be hermies and he got them from growers choice. Free seeds i guess they are northern lights autos. But thats not a good ratio 50% of his seeds hermies. Lol

Yea its bad. Someone else said that it could be stress induced rodelization or something like that? But i know either way there were way more seeds after going through it all than i thought. One plant was loaded but still had really good size buds and the other only had a few seeds but horrible airy and popcorn nugs. Bad year of growing for him. Lol
