Not only that, but it's your first grow. Relax, dont get pulled into others grows that isn't their first go. Even getting detailed information it's hard to follow some are until you experience it. We can say water when light all day. Until one knows what a light pot actually is, it's still hit and miss. You'll get through this grow just fine, start on number 2 with more experience than you had last grow. Imo still cant expect much out of the second grow. This shit takes years learning. Doubt you'll still be growing the same in a few grows, you'll have to learn all over again. It'll be easier since you'll have experience but still a learning process. Not just growing after that gotta learn how to dry in your environment, then cure properly. You'll think you have it then run into something new or learn something new you've never even thought about due to not experiencing it yet.
Very true i got the right setup and area for it i made sure of that so i could focus on the bumps that i come across. Calcium, nitrogen def and overwatering so far but i came back from it! So hopefully next run if it happens i catch it sooner. I just compared my 21 day old pics to my 28 day old and in 1 week they have tripled in size so i think im on the right track now! Just doesnt seem like they are growing cause i look at them 96 times a day. Haha

Question though do i need to start giving calmag weekly now since its heading into flowering phase? Or will that hurt them?

See what happens, people do both. personally when I used liquid nutrients stopped calmag when I stopped veg nutrients after the flowering stretch

Good to see a few people posting, haven't been on in a few years and i was expecting the thread to be a bit dead. I'll try and doument this years grow a bit on here. 1 female seeds-red purps photo, 7 naragia buiscotti fasts and 4 blue forest berry autos.

Does any one have experience using colloidal silver? Was thinking of herming out the best of the autos to pollinate photos

I dont use colloidal silver, I just buy tiresias mist off amazon

You basically use it the same, a week before and a week into flower. 1ce to 2ce a day. Suggest using a piece of cardboard to place behind branch your spraying to block other growth from getting misted. You only spray the limb itll damage foliage. If you damage the branches foliage you're spraying some it's okay. Cant always miss foliage spraying stem. You'll generally use 3 quarters of the bottle if not the whole bottle. I'll start out 2ce a day morning and night. After about a week the accidentally misted foliage will darked but itll be fine. The damage and appearance of foliage is why the second week I may do 2ce but I'll work my way down to 1ce. I've never done a photo but have done a few autos. I'll get about 200 viable seeds give or take you'll get alot but less will be viable even less if you dont let plant ripen until ripe seeds are falling off the plant. I dont do anything but spray a top branch and let circulating air pollinate. If you use a arts and crafts paint brush to dust pollen on pistils you'll get more.

Also I wouldnt plan on doing anything but throwing it away. I always just tear through them like a mad man. Seeds for days just gotta find the viable ones that are brown with the black stripe or stripes. Normally making the weed look like chop suey. Just let viable seeds sit on a paper towel for 24 hrs and they'll be good to store in the freezer

Cheers for the info, would love to polinate a hardy photo with a nice fruity auto any hopefully get afew hardy, fruity early flowering semi autos. There all i can really grow here properly, the are usully done late sept, october here is nearly a cold wash out. Wost conditions you can get to finish off a plant. I was reading about using a soft make up brush for polinating

You got a good one or two you like? Sativa, indica, hybrid I grow year around warm winters. Just try and grow more indica or indica dominate hybrids in cooler months vice versa for summer months when its 120°F

I have just one photo im lsting n bushing out at the moment, 3 autos potted just waiting to break ground. I'll germ the semi biscottis in 2 weeks or so. Im at 53 degrees north so 90% of strains just cut it. The tropicana is a tropicana cookies x red poison, semi auto.

That's nice how many times did you cross or did it just come that way. I was going for full auto but I like that size with shorter veg.

Its where you cross a photo with a auto and some of the offspring will be more photo sensitive and trigger to flower about two weeks earlier. The semi needs to be back crossed to stablize the semi auto trait.
