I do this also. Don’t know if this is common knowledge but some of the new white led seem to lack in the red spectrum. That’s why I put a blurple for side lighting and to add light in general. This is my second attempt with this method, but I’m noticing there are differences in the buds getting mostly white and vice versa . For sure it doesn’t hurt.

If you can visibly see more purple on one side of the tent than the other then that side is getting most of that spectrum.
think logically for a minute
How would you suppose the dark blues and reds would get to the opposite side of the tent and distribute the nms equally?
