Grow tents kill plants

Yeah trapper that is pretty much how the earlier ones acted. Apparently they have fixed those issues with the mylar version of the tents where there was light leaks in the seams and little speckled holes, as well as not having that toxic smell when theyre hot which was apparently associated with the white plastic liner.

Does anyone have the mylar tent, if so do they still have those little light leak pin holes and the smell when theyre hot?
mine is supposed to be the brand new model,i have the metal poles, but it is what it is,they have their place, but i just feel trapped working in them and the outer lip around it,but im just going to use it now for breeding, plants, not the woman on the other trapline.

And on the subject of toxic fumes, I just bought two inline fans, and are having to run them outside of the grow area because of an odor they are giving off, has a similar smell to what the grow tent used to give off, a sort of burnt electrical/ozone smell. Anyone had that experience too.

anyone know if the white vynal interior of sun huts are toxic? I havnt had a successful grow in about 7 months because my plants get sick every time I put them into flower. They make tiny buds, never bulk up and have tiny underdeveloped roots. A 24 inch plant only fills out about 1/3 of a 6 inch container. At harvest you can pull out the plant from the pot and there are absolutely no roots.

Got some pics?
Here is what mine look like, I have had 3 bad grows in a row. I'm not in a tent, but I was using spray glue and Mylar together in a completely sealed co2 enriched environment.
I have started to replace all the pvc in my grow space along with every other damn thing that could possible 'off-gas'

Holy shit! They did that all 3 grows? after you put them in the enclosure for bloom? It has to be the adhesive. Shit now that I think of it, I used elmers rubber cement for a home made flood table. But besides that, what is your yield like what did your buds look like? Yeah I have plenty of pics. Ill have to put them up tomorrow. Just a bunch of pathetic twigs with sparse popcorn buds on them really. I only have 2 pretty sad plants under the 1000 HPS that are some perfect specimens of what Im talking about. They went in that fucking tent as thick stalked and lush green with great big reen fanleves. They get harvested on the 14th of april and every leaf on them is yellow, tiny buds etc.

The pics I posted are from plants that went in to veg lol, they will never go into bloom. Their structure is week :( I already have some new clones that I am waiting to root for. I just want to see if they could bounce back once the 'off-gassing' is taken care off. I'll put some pics up today, it looks like they are improving, but they are still very light in color.
My last grow I had a perfect veg. cycle, mid you, I did not add the spray glue and Mylar until 3rd week flower. But the poison went to work fast. Check the pics, I ended up with under a .25g a watt.
Keep in mind that once they get poisoned they can not tolerate the light anymore.
BTW, my temps are controlled at 78 at canopy level. Also not the addition of the Mylar in the background ;)

i have my plants in a genuine budbox and they do just fine, i have a 5 inch filter and scrubber inside which vents the heat out the tent but my plants are thriving

It's all a mater of how high the concentration of DBP is in the environment. If you are venting you should be OK, unless you are in one of the 'killer tents', but if you are operating in a completely sealed environment we have to be very careful about what building materials we use. Keep in mind when a room is sealed off contaminats can reach toxic levels in a hurry ;)
