I feel like I can spot a couple of ambers when I look at it with the little magnifying glass, but overall, no. I read that not all auto plants get amber trichomes, but I dunno about this particular strain.

Do you think close to 10% are amber?

More a indoor problem tbh cos It takes time to get to that you won't go as far as that being in northern Europe anyway you want a bit of amber's in there imo you want the full spectrum of cannabinoids especially for nighttime smoke you want that especially over cooked trust me cbn is the best for a good sleep the other stuff you take a bit earlier

Gotcha, I actually do see a few ambers in the photos now that I've zoomed and looked around, but still not enough. I never expected this grow to take 14+ weeks :mrgreen:
 
Harvested the Sweet Tooth Auto today, I couldn't wait any longer and I was seeing more and more amber. (You can see it In the photo I attached too. Some amber spread around there. Not anywhere near 30% though.)

I planted it on the 6th of May and harvested it today, the 18th of August, that's 104 days, almost 15 weeks. Insane. Either the strain was slower than expected, my climate was poor for it, or I simply let it run too long, who knows?

It was in a 2-gallon smart pot, but as you can see the roots didn't thrive as much as they could have. I have no idea if I kept it too wet or if the soil wasn't good. Not sure.

I harvested, washed in water, washed in hydrogen peroxide, washed in water and hung to dry. The drying room is 55% humidity and 23c (73f) - I can't lower the temperature in the room but I guess I can try to raise the humidity to 60-65% and that would slow down the drying.

Next year I hope to have a wine fridge that I can use, for lotus drying, at lower temperatures. But for now, I will settle with a slightly too-warm of a dry room.

I'm experimenting with giving my plants a lot more nutrients.

Up until now, I had been following this schedule, which is half of regular dosages for all-mix (For instance, normally it would be 1ml/l of Fish-Mix, not ½) I just edited the photo and removed the nutrients I don't use and change the numbers. I know it would be easier to just use the regular at half dosages and not edit anything, but I like having things in order and I like making it simpler for myself :dunce: Stonerproof.

I ran half because I kept being told to run half the dosages that Biobizz recommends, maybe that is advice given based on old information or perhaps it's talking about the "light mix" recommendations, that look like this:

And my soil mix was light mix amended with worm castings and some guano, so at best I was somewhere in between a light mix and an all mix.

So if I should go by this, I've been underfeeding my plants, with ½ml of fish mix per watering when I should, maybe, have been doing 2ml per liter, or even more depending on week.


Not any real purpose in this post, just a heads up to the people who are helping me diagnose issues, now you have the data to tell me I've fucked it up at least :)
 
Frisian Ducks are still looking horrible. Seems like it's getting worse. I have no idea. I've been ramping up feeds but they're still just hating life.

Open to all ideas, almost. (Not pissing in the pots) :shock:

Jeez... What a troublesome plant. This is what I would do, seriously. Frustrated with the plant's performance, I would transplant it into the ground.

Step one: Buy large bag of soil. Dig hole, throw potting soil into the hole. Lightly mix the potting soil with some of the ground soil.
Step two: Remove plant from the pot, gently beat some of the soil to loosen some of the roots. Plant will be root bound.
Step three: Transplant. Water heavy. Then water with some molasses (1tsp per gallon of water. Make sure to correct the water ph after mixing in the molasses.)

Keep in mind that you will definitely be harvesting premature flowers if you decide to do this. The plant will experience transplant shock. Growth will be stunted for about 1 week.

Thanks for the idea! I think I will keep that as a last resort. Why do you believe that would help them, though? The one that has been in the ground all along is also hating life. :sad:

I like having them mobile because I will be seeing a lot of rain in fall, so being able to move them into the shade is very useful

Not growing Frisian Duck again, that's for sure.

Drying and trimming of the Sweet Tooth Auto is done and got a bag of 55g + extra, so about 70g in total. Not horrible not great.

I think the Sweet Tooth Auto is pretty larfy, the buds aren't super dense, and it was annoying to trim. Smokes just fine though! Hope one of the others are more dense, then I can use Sweet Tooth Auto for edibles.

Bonsai Sweet Tooth Auto doing fine, it's small as expected, but very healthy considering how little I do for it.

Also attached pictures of the 3 big ones, and the Early Skunk in the ground. Frisian Ducks are still unhappy.

Only worth updating the Frisian Dew at the moment. Seems like the stretch is done and it's now flowering. I was wondering if I'm too late to defoliate, and how much I should defoliate?

Ideally, I should have mainlined it but that's a lesson for the next grow. But I do want to defoliate it as much as what is ideal, so I can limit the amount of popcorn buds etc, make trimming less of a pain.

It seems like the Frisian Ducks are recovering, or maybe I'm just imagining things. All the sick leaves have fallen off and overall it looks greener. Maybe it's just tricking me.

Frisian Dew showing a tiny bit of deficiencies, not worried yet.

Early Skunk in the ground looks happy despite no real watering or feedings.

Sweet Tooth Auto Bonsai is showing deficiencies. I added more pellets to the top, might have to do a liquid feed or two.
