I use fabric pots. I was wondering if taller and skinnier or shorter and fatter are better?

Root Trapper 2 for instance has two sizes for their 5 gallon containers.
I'm wondering which one will plants like best or if it even matters?

I have noticed that a plant tends to grow similar to the shape of the pot. A tall skinny pot lends to a tall skinny plant and vise versa, so i always use a 30gal smart pot filled about halfway with medium, seems to make for a more bushy plant thats easier to fill with a flap canopy of the sq/ftage. I grow large plants tho, so 15gal is perfect.

Interesting observation. Thanks!
