View attachment 2602852View attachment 2602854View attachment 2602855Is that Reserva Privada PW? If it is, do you ever have a problem with them clawing up on you? I've grown them twice and for some reason they claw on me, both times. I've tryed everything first I thought it was overwatering so I cut back a bit. Then I thought it was to much N so I changed that up but still nothing. The first time I grew it I topped it and it gave me some small buds but decent not popcorn. So the second time I figured I would try no topping and just some light manicuring at the bottom and they turned out to be straight garbage. I get the purple color and the heavy trichs but bullshit buds all fluffy from top to bottom. This time I lollipopped 2 clones of it and I am hoping for better results cause I got 16 Clones that are in veg right now, ready for 12/12 in about 2 weeks. Then again all these clones are from 1 seed. So last week I germed the other 4 in the pack and only 3 cracked open. Figured it might be the pheno. Any input from you would be great. Does your pheno get the purple hue? These are the 2 I have in 12/12 right now. Theyve been in for 20 days. Everything looks good just cant get rid of that damn claw.

Yes, these are from the Reserva Privada. Your plants look good! You have to help me out, I am still kind of new at this and haven't heard all of the lingo and whatnot, what do you mean by "clawing up"? Do you mean the leaves curling like that into claw shapes. I am going to go out on a limb and assume that is what you mean. No, mine didn't show any signs of that. In fact, it seemed to take anything I would throw at it like a champ. I took about .75oz off of a single plant that was decent. The next one was a tiny one that I kept in a small pot and flowered just for the hell of it. To be honest it was way better quality - both were clones of the same mother. The only thing I did different with that one was put a couple of large 2900k CFLs *very* close to the buds the last 3 weeks of flowering or so.

I have 9 PW clones rooting right now as well and I am going to flower them under a 4'x8-bulb HO T5 with 4x6500k and 4x2900k bulbs as a comparison. The LED's I have are okay, but they haven't yet produced anything of considerable size. The buds do get large, but they seem to have a ceiling - and like I said it seems like the CFLs added some umph to what the buds received light-wise. I know a better LED would likely give me even greater yields than the T5s, but it was in my budget now so I am going to try it. I will flowering 9 clones of the Chemdawg as well next to it under an identical fixture. I plan on topping 4 or so of each to do some comparisons there as well. It is the first time that I will have the setup to do any kind of meaningful experimentation.

The leaves turned very dark green/bluish toward the very end of their cycle and the calyxes definitely went purple - but mine are in a basement and it definitely had a 13 degree or so drop in temperature at night when compared when the lights are on.

My smaller tent with the LEDs in it I plan on using for a single plant, waterfarm SCROG set up. I will be adding a 2' HO T5 with 6500k bulbs with the LEDs in the upper corners angled in. Definitely a hole in the part of the spectrum in my current light situation.

Hey bro, sorry been away for a bit. Yep, the claw is when the leaves turn down at the tips and is usually caused by over watering or over nutes :)

I think you'll do well with the T5 setup too, you could even swap out the bulbs and have 6x6500k with 2 flowering bulbs for veg and then do the opposite for flowering. My only suggestion with using T5's is to have the plants with an even canopy and not too stretchy, the more light you can get to penetrate the buds, the thicker they will be :) that is my experience anyway. If you leave the veging bulbs in for the first week of flower they won't stretch as much :D real keen to see what you come out with bro, best of luck hey!

Thanks man! Yeah, I have been doing quite a bit of research and found a group that actually used a 1:1 6500k:2900k bulb set up (so 4 of each in an 8-bulb lamp) with some really great looking results. Going to do some experimentation and see what happens. I will keep you posted :bigjoint:

Kind of off topic, but I didn't want to put up another thread. This is a Green House Seeds Arjan Ultra Haze #1 that I had veg'd for like 5 weeks and then flowered or a whopping 16.5 weeks. Definitely airy, but man did it put out a shitload. The bud pics are right before I harvested her. Sorry, I was feeling all artsy - must of been the incredible AUH#1 we were smoking at the time :) We just quick dried a little in the toaster oven and good lord!
