Grow #4 - Purple Wreck in Coco

Vegged this Purple Wreck (grown from seed) under CFLs for about 8 weeks - took a few clones for future propogation. Transplanted into a 5Gal felt pot of coco. Feeding Aurora Innovations Soul Synthetics nutrients.

Current setup:
- Grow tent with carbon scrubber
- (1) 90w LED (2w diodes) - shitty basically
- (1) 135w LED (3w diodes) - not as shitty, but not awesome either
- (2) Large 100w 2700k CFLs to help put with the light spectrum



Did quite a bit of topping and some LST along the way. Plan is to supercrop a little in the next day or two. Have had good results with yield and quality using that technique.

Yeah greenghost I am pretty excited to see how she turns out. I got the seed from Attitude for like $14. Just bought one feminized seed and it germ'd and grew really well. Hope it gets really purpley though

This plant is really developing nicely. Quite a few tops starting to show flower activity at a fairly even canopy. Definitely still stretching a little. Did some trimming to remove the stuff that won't get any light. Fed her today and she looks happy.

Purple Wreck is loving life. So far the felt pot has been a huge success. It is stretching nice and has quite a few very sturdy tops that I hope will fill up with dank, purpley goodness Peace and Ganja!

End of week 4 for what I refer to as PW#1 now. I decided to add an additional PW plant (PW#2) which is a clone of #1. I also added a clone of Arjan's Ultra Haze #1 just for the hell of it.

Good looking buds so far

Just starting week 6. Super smelly and sticky at this point. This plant is turning out to be the first one I have grown that looks like the pictures I drooled over while researching how to do all this

Had to post some pics of my new vape. This thing is simply awesome. It is a Da Buddha Vaporizer with their Straight 6 Percolator Water Filter system. If you have ever smoked hookah, it basically feels like that, but with vapor. Plus, you look cool as fuck smoking out of it. Ha Ha.

At the end of week 7 for Purple Wreck #1. This plant is stinky as hell. You open then tent and boom!, a thick fuely odor punches you in the face. And it is incredibly sticky.



Both PW#2 (front left) and the Arjan's Ultra Haze #1 (back left) are looking good. The haze has a super thick stem and ginormous leaves. Both are doing great I think:



Here is the veg cabinet right now. Just some babies. Have a Purple Wreck mom growing from a clone, a Chemdawg mom, a Cheese Candy seedling, a Blue Dream seedling plus (3) clones that I just started to root taken from the Arjan's Ultra Haze #1 plant.

Wow man, those plants look fantastic so green and lush!! Top work man!

Closing in on the end of week 8. Resin is kicking in nice. Trichs still mostly clear with about 30% cloudy. I am going to let this go until it is 50/50 cloudy/amber I think so might take more than 9 weeks total. Starting to get a little purpley on the leaves and the flowers.

And here is the Arjan's Ultra Haze #1. Seriously excited about this plant - supposed to be intense. The seed I popped a couple months ago turned out to be a very strong and produced and incredible mother. This is a clone of her and it has huge, dark green leaves and a thick, thick ass stem.

That is seriously nice looking man! Love it! I have some Purple Wreck beans that I've been holding on to just because I kind of lost interest in them, but after seeing this I might have to rethink my position. Lol!

Thanks man! Yeah, I sprouted the seeds and probably grew it out a good 5 weeks before putting her into flower. I topped her pretty regularly. Easy plant take care of - no nutrient sensitivities that I can detect. She is just starting to get some purple on the leaves and calyxes. The room I use is in the basement so it is cooler - but it still has central heating so it doesn't drop too much below like 69 degrees ever, so not sure how much color mine will get - I hope it cures to a cool purple, but we shall see.

I would definitely recommend growing it! I kept a mother for that very reason - one I will definitely finish again.

Okay, I am thinking maybe a week - week and a half to go. The buds are beautiful and the whole plant is just incredible looking. Your mouth just waters when the tent is opened for the first time every morning - the smell is intense. It is crazy how uniform all the buds are too - the pictures look like they are all of the same bud, but I assure you they are of different buds (well, except for the close up, it is of the bud that precedes it).



The Arjan's Ultra Haze was transplanted into a 4 Gal container and I did some LST to curb some of the height issues I am anticipating as possibilities. The main stalk is thick as fuck, but pretty flexible so I was able to kind of coax it into a position that enables light to get to the lower branches. You can also see how big the leaves are. I am glad I took a few clones of this plant, it is really a superior plant so far.
