with all the issues I had and 2 solid days of severe light leak, I never found a single nanner or any issues with my gg4, and many others with the same cut have also said that and never had any hermi issues, after seeing it for myself, I think that's just some kinda bs rumor!

guys I was thinking about starting a new thread that's only about the sips, and probiotics! basically the way I grow! instead of mixing my journals and everyone just having fun a chatting, which we can continue to do here!

we can have a sip and probiotics thread! just everyone's experiments, and builds, will all the info laid out into one! and we can discuss everything sip and prob. related! so new guys don't have to dig through pages to get the info there looking for!

anyone have an opinion on that? or maybe be down the help me work on it??? or should I just leave it as in and change the name of this thread? bc were almost at 20 pages and I haven't even started flower on the wedding cake sip!

sounds great! honestly i've been considering getting one of these containers fired up in the near future. actually two of them. I want to run two plants under one light, each with their own SIP, and then run 4 plants my usual way, and see how the yields compare. it's all about those plant numbers :)

Wish life would slow down some, but I did manage to pick up two new 30 gal. totes a couple days ago.
Still need a few things but would like to throw them together within the next couple weeks and get them going.
So keep the info coming.

Just watched a you tube with Albin Adkisson setting one up.
Has anyone seen it.
What I thought was a little odd, he used a bag of dolomite lime, but only raked it into the top inch or so.
Why not mix it thoroughly into your soil first, or does it have something to do with the Gro-kashi and mycelium being up top?
Does using the Gro-kashi and having a layer of mycelium require more of a ph buffer than when growing in pots or containers?

@Greenthumbss256, think I remember you mentioning somewhere that you found out you needed to use more lime.

You have peaked my curiosity about sips and organics with this grow of yours. Great job man!
I've grown organics, but not in a sip.

OK few things one, u know that same video is in the beginning of this thread lmfao!

2 yes. I add some extra d.l. or even oyster shell will work! sadly I do not know why, and haven't tried it without, but I think it's bc em1, Sits at 3.5 ph, and the amount that we use. and the fact it's basically the biggest part of this method, I think the extra dl, just helps with keeping the ph normal!

and I do mix it into the soil, I don't not do a layer like your describing

thanks buddy, and thank you to everyone for the compliments, and interest everyone has shown! I will start a new thread hopefully tonight! that will be solely for this method! and how to!

but I'd like to ask, everyone that's already built sips, and started to try, if you wouldn't mind popping in after I start it, and posting your pics and what ever else you think I may have missed!

one of the mods gave me a great idea! basically when I start the new thread, I can just post about 10 msgs with one word each, then I can edit each one, that way no one can interrupt until I finish laying out all the info! it was a great idea! thanks @sunni I actually had never even thought of that!

but I'll post links on all the threads that I've made about this method! and try to get everyone in one place!
