FYI. The quote below was posted by GLN rep.

+++++++++++++++++
"we are doing 1 more change in about 3-6 months, and planning to make it pure powder. This seems to be a much bigger issue that a lot of indoor smaller growers were complaining about (mixture of balls and powder and perception of getting uneven mixture). So with pure powder formula you can use extremely small doses and not have to worry about uneven mixture."

should I trust the label on my bag or the one on the site?
Just got the bag a few weeks ago and the GA says 9/6/17 where the label on the site is 9.5/7/18
Which is correct, or are do we know if either is?

The image below is from the GLN website as the current recipe. I received a sample bag months ago of v3, bag had old recipe printed. Visibly different from 2.0.

This is what I got. I ordered it right after you posted about the 1000g promo. Has what I guess is the old label on the bag. My other bucket is still original version, if this is 2.1 I never saw the 2.0 version.
This wont be enough to finish this crop so trying to decide more MC or switch

That has the mini sparkles - that confirms it's not 2.0.

I think GLN officially calls the latest V3. V2.1 = V3.

Doesn't dissolve worth a shit compared to the original version. I have to mix it in 3x as much water to get it to mix in well vs V1.
V1 I could mix up 3-400g at a time and im having to do it like 100g at a time now. System is half the size it was last time so maybe it wont be so annoying but its still 65 gallons so idk.

All those weed fertilizer companies are cowboys.
Most of them have no clue what they are doing. So, yes we are their Guinea pigs.
They just copy stuff from the 'real' companies.
Or they buy it from other companies, repack it and sell it for double, triple or even more.

I am too stupid to make my own, but I know some guys who do. They save tons of money.

I just noticed on their website that they changed the Sweet Candy and Bud Explosion as well.
I'm using V2 of the MegaCrop (I think) that still has the white balls in it. If the new version gets rid of the white balls and everything is powdered...I'll be happy with that.

Updated with new Sweet numbers. It's becoming more of a PK booster, with sweeteners.

Bummer their calmagpro is so dang high in N in relation to the amount of CA. I use cal-nit and/or calimagic.

These are approximate ppm breakdowns, per gallon, per ml/gr.

I dissolve mine in a 15 gallon container with a pond pump at the bottom. I usually leave it for 10-20 minutes to dissolve. When I don't hear the white balls bouncing around I know it's good to go. Leave the balls. Lol. What are those balls anyway?

I think those are calcium pellets. I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere.
I only mix 3-4 g at a time. I just use a 5 gallon pail and slotted spoon. I usually let it sit for a few minutes and stir it up again and it mixes pretty good.
I've be thinking about buying a cheap magnetic stirrer and making a strong base liquid. Might still try that option.
