Granddaddy purp, think she's hungry...

Right now I am at
200 tds
60ml UC root
50 ml COCO cal (was 20 last week)
30 ml Veg A&B (was 20 last week)

Thursday I will switch to week 4 veg feed, + extra Coco Cal
I expect around 450 tds
60 ml UC root
60 ml CoCo cal
50 ml Veg A&B

I feel like they are acting like I am starving them, so I am willing to risk alittle tip burn to reverse that I think.

How are your plants doing any updates
Things are pretty okay, one on my plants is doing amazing, just growing like a weed... lol
But one of them is slower, the new growth looks pretyy green, but its sort of twisted.
Magnesium deficiency showed its self as well, so I ramped their nutes from 200 tds to 330 tds (my Coco cal went from 2ml/g to 2.8 and veg went from .8 ml/g to 2.1 ml/g)
Thinking genetics is at play here? Otherwise why would one plant be doing great, while another is struggling?

I actually think the new growth looks pretty good, I just topped it a couple days ago.
Hopefully this is a good sign since cal deficiencies usually show on new growth
It's getting really old with every new grower blaming every single plant deficiency on "Calmag", even in hydro!

It's in no way needed with a complete plant food, even with RO water. Doesn't anybody read labels anymore? Your not growing in soil or Coco, don't get lured in to their marketing.

It's all about nutrient ratios, Calcium:magnesium ratio etc. Not about adding a "complete nutrient line" with 7+ bottles. Adding products without knowing what they're doing or what ratios you're actually changing is like shooting in the dark.

What are you talking about?
I have a 3 part line. Plus my UC root. Thats all I use

I clearly have (had) a cal deficiency on my new growth, and just a few days ago I clearly had Mg deficiency appear on my older growth.
I bumped my Coco Cal from 75 tds to 125 tds and they look much better.
I haven't added anything crazy?

And I wouldn't quite consider myself new, thanks.
I've been growing little over 10 years now. Admittedly this is my first run in hydro though

You already have calcium nitrate in part A. The plant was not lacking calcium in solution I can guarantee you that. I consider you new because you clearly don't understand plant nutrition and doesn't seem to be that interested tbh.

You talk about brand names instead of minerals and their ratios. Good luck! Cheers!

My nutrient line is designed as a 3 part.
The coco cal is designed to be added here.
My veg A does not have nearly enough.
Have you ever ran cultured solutions before?

Designed by who? Current Culture? They're just after your money. If they're able to convince you that you actually need soil and coir products in hydro they make more profit.

I've actually read scientific literature on the matter and made a whole lot of own research testing different nutrient ratios growing in hydro.

Look you pick up cultured solutions veg a and b, get it a whirl without their cococal. Let me know how it goes for you, and then you can come back here with your big head and keep hating.
I'm fine using a specially designed 3 part line

Lol telling me not to use their cococal is like trying to say you don't need to use flora micros in the GH flora line
