GPW (Grams Per Watt) more like GP-WTF

Well that explains why you think your going to get so much. You haven't grown it indoors, even 4000w of hps side by side would not yeild close to the amount you could outside. 4oz per plant Is a high goal depending on the length of your veg period. 2-3 your doing good, most first timers can pull a little over 1-1.5oz. You say you do have some experience though so who knows, prove us all wrong.

dude whatever THE TOTAL DRY WEIGHT IN GRAMS IS OFF OF ALL 12 plants ADDED UP AND THEN DIVIDED BY THE WATTAGE OF YOUR LIGHT EQUALS YOUR GRAMS PER WATT!!! Do you understand that now?

if you have the room to put them in 25 gal containers or larger, then you might get that much off a plant. I have seen Heaths tree grow cheisel and get an amazin yield, but he was also using 4 1000watt lights per plant on a flipflop, think he got a couple lbs of 1 plant but it doesn't sound like you have the light capacity or room for something like that. Look up heaths tree grow on google, you will see what I'm talking about. Indoors plants don't react the same as outdoors. that same plant you got your cutting or seeds from was probably in a 100 gal container or larger, thats why it got so big, if you can recreate something like that then yes you can get a couple pounds per plant. good luck

just looked up heaths for you - 56 oz from one plant using 4 600w hps on a flipflop using the equivalent of 900watts. in a souped up dwc system.

For reference purposes, I just completed my second grow, matured 4 LST females in 3 gal pots under 8 4ft t5 ho flouros (432 watts) using organics in in a 4x3 space and yielded just over 10 oz... A GPW of .66

Not great, but still respectable. A least, it made me happy :weed:

Not going to happen your looking for 8oz off of a plant 5ft tall? it better be 5 feet around as well.
This isn't going to happen. You will be lucky to get 3 oz. a plant if you have a lot of room. As the plants thrive and grow, they will block light to lower parts of the plant. You will get very little quality bud from the lower third of the plant.
Hmmm. I've gotten 10+ oz off a plant 5 feet tall and about 3 feet in diameter, under a 600w hps with a raptor. I don't have a good estimate of my gpw because I am on a continuous harvest and had a few other plants going at the time. Clearly, its over 0.5 though.

that doesnt make sense...

Not one bit. if you have 4, 5 foot plants under a 1000w light, that are not blocking eachothers light, as compared to 1 plant under that light, the yireld will be much more.

Again... makes no sense. that cant be correct.
That just means your gpw is higher when you grow multiple plants. One plant wouldn't be making proper use of the light most likely, and therefore your yeild will be lower, and since your wattage stayed the same, your gpw just dropped. get it?

We have our "Fish Stories" in this hobby also.... Largest indoor plant for me was a free DNA rocklock seed that yeilded 134grams in a five gallon with 5 other plants under a 1000k. It was a freak but the bud sucked... Average is .6 gpw
