Sounds like you were fucked either way if the dog alerted to your grow room that's probable cause...

The cops aren't gonna let you off of shit if you snitch on someone else. Why would you snitch when your the one that got your own self caught up by answering your door at 4 am. and not having a secure growroom.

How does your looking after your own ass aid in obtaining that goal.....if not, even for yourself?

i thought everyone knew that texas is not the state to f around in.. i've never even been anywhere close to texas just for this reason.. i am always amazed at the large amount of people i see on here from texas... they got some big balls...
i'm shocked that you have already gotten notice of your warrent.. sometimes it can take years to get served..

I always questioned these laws regarding number of plants....seems really ridiculous to me.

I'm currently growing "sea of green."

I guess if they impose those kinds of laws, I'll have to resort to trees...kind of hard to accomplish under fluorescents. :roll:

It's definetley not a good idea to rat anyone out. I mean sure they try to act cool talking about beer and sports or whatever they think will make you comfortable. When it all comes down to it it's pretty much like a legal scam. You give them more people to bust, and that's what it turns into. Your might lose some of your charges but most likely they'll just fuck you. I've said it before and I'll say it again, cops are only out to protect their personal interests for the most part. They don't give a shit about the community and obviously keeping people safe is their last priority (I say that because becoming an informant weather or not you get any charges dropped, is a good way to put your safety in jeaporady. Sure you rat someone out, the police are off your back, but more than likley you got some more season motherfuckers after you that won't just put you in jail)

Point being even if you don't like someone first of all doesn't mean they deserve to get busted and second off could have some friends that can put your life in danger.
Your best bet is to just be honest with out being too honest. (Don't lie, just don't say certain shit you don't want them to know) and try to be cooperative and don't be any trouble. If the court/police see you as a good person, than more than likely they'll go easier on you, in my personal experience anyway.

I'm very sorry to have to read about your situation, but if you were working hard to keep your record clean you would of never of been growing marijuana in a rental / apartment in the first place. I sure hope others will be able to learn from this mistake. Good luck

P.S. If you bought your seeds out of the country & had them shipped to you, I wouldn't mention that. You got your seeds out of a bag of weed you picked up from a street corner dealer if they ask. Don't invite a federal case against you. Keep it State wise.
