Im not so much worried bout you pot smokers as I am the anti-depressant 15 pills taken to counter act 2 pills kinda peolple. N Im pretty sure theres a penalty for using a gun for any kind of felony act!!. havent seen a short barreled rifle or sawed off barrel on this thread yet.

RB, I'm not arguing that federal law still considers marijuana cultivation a crime, however if a firearm is on the premises it doesn't mean it is being used in a drug crime. How many more ways to say it are there. Gun on property =/= connection with a crime. Agree to disagree? Really not up for another trivial argument on semantics. Not for another few days. Plus I think your a decent cat. Would rather not go down this road with someone I don't have qualms with.

I heard somewhere that Atty Gen E.H was going to/suppose to. bring it from a schedule 1 down to a scheduled 2...dont know how true that is and didnt think he had that authority either.

Yes, the feds would I'm sure. That part I totally understand and could get most all of us 5-10 by itself.
In Washington for instance 1st time cultivation offense is a 5 year pop: http://norml.org/laws/item/washington-penalties-2
Firearms however, there hasn't been any "official law", simply a form letter to FFDs from the ATF advising firearm sales to "known drug users" is prohibited (but again, when this letter was sent to FFDs in 2011 no formal law accompanied to enforce said rule). Then comes the issue of whether they would tie ownership of a firearm to use in a crime - or drug crime more specifically.
As with all cannabis laws in these times every day seems to bring new laws... and in Washington, even law enforcement doesn't know wtf is the flavor of the day :-/

We just started our buissness went thru lawyer city planner officials all the shit that puts you in the light of day to them all fed law trumps state I think ill take the advice of our lawyers over anyone in forums If the man comes in it because they feel the law has been broken in THERE eyes . There going to throw everything they can in the charges why give them more.
