Right at two weeks after flip, inspect the plant thoroughly for balls. They'll usually only be on the bottom half(like gg4 can do when stressed)but can also be some on top half too here and there. Check again in a few days, and again right at 3 weeks.
If you miss finding 1 or 2 of them after three weeks, you'll end up with some beans in your crop, but not loaded or anything

The GG4 cut is badass for sure, but i've had problems in a couple of my rooms a couple times now, and I check the way I posted above everytime I have gg4 plants in flower now.

Great advice I'm going to do that as well.

I think you should get the light down way closer to your babies. They won't get as stretched out that way.

There's a 50/50 chance of either gender. You could have shit luck and get one or none in females. Or get two, maybe more females. Here's hoping you get all the ladies... Unless you want to get seeds.

I've just popped 3 bagseed into my setup. I'm hoping for at least one female. The males will be taken outside to develop seed. And the female/s will be left in the cabinet to mature.

Definitely sexing as fems, all five GG's:

Roots are clean and white and vigorous, actually turning up as the fastest growers in my garden with three other strains all similar ages.

The roots are amazing! It's so awesome to see the bag seeds taking off after all the naysayers. I'll have some photos today of my (hopefully) female plants

Yeah that's what I'm hoping for! At least one female out of the bunch of 4...fingers crossed!

Yep! Solid advice, just moved them a few days ago to my LED mother/clone cab. Thankfully the stretch stopped and now they are filling out nicely

Coming onto 3rd week flower, these GG bagseed girls are still stretching. Filling out the scrog nicely though. Happy with these runts.

Dropping in for an update, just in case you GG4 nerds care for it.

Week 6 flower for 5 of these girls. Only one has shown to be hermie, i've kept her in and just pinching off ball sacs and nanners as I catch them. Not enough for me to trash her especially since the flowers are still good. Tossed all clones of this one plant but running out the others looking for a keeper.

She's been sticky since week 3 and was still stretching into week 4. Flowers are fattening up since the PK push this week.

Leaves are very dark but probably down to me keeping the N high as I was following the stretch. Very healthy foliage and feeding reasonably high at 2.0EC. Will take all the Mg I can throw at her.

They seem to veg fairly slow but absolutely boomed in flower.

I feel unbelievably lucky to have come across these seeds in a nug and for them to be growing out so well. GG4 around here can be hit or miss so totally stoked to have this in the garden.
