Dry wouldn't be good for my situation. I may have to try some of that marsh growing with my Spring crop. There is a wet weather pond that might serve the bill.over here in maine we having one of the best summers in long time, dry an sunny
You're killing me man. I have to change clothes three times a day if I'm working outside. But I'll be in the 60's within a week or so. My 10 day forecast flirted with 69F for a day or two, but now 71 is the lowest it's sporting.Down to 46 last nightq.. had to wear a sweater when watering.

I'd have to check my garden thread on another site to get the exact dates, but last year we had a couple of spotty frost toward the end of October. Then it was halfway through November before we had a killing frost. Average first frost for Tallahassee is October 28th.Dang! I'm actually hoping we don't get an early frost.
I wish.. average first frost for my area is September 12th. These last few years though we have made it into October without killing frosts. I had to pull a couple of mine early due to too much rain. Didn't write down the date, but it was late October I think. I'm glad I found RIU so I will have all the important dates recorded this year.I wish.. average first frost for my area is September 12th.
