Wow...I gotta say. Its so cool to see a community pull together like this. You don't see that too often. I run a forum thats a fair amount smaller than this and I love it when the guys get together to help eachother out.

I did. I had 3 grows in an apartment back in the day before I got a house/basement and clue and kicked out my first 400 watt light. Not bad stuff, small plants small buds and a small yeild but that's all relative

Lol @ glad and well shit if its free its me! But no really i got free seeds from homeless and that is all I am really comfortable taking for free, but I appreciate the offers so much, cashcrops and c and trevor. My real intentions were and are, to make this happen by myself, just thought if someone was looking to up their plant count we could make a little arrangement for awhile. Oh and thanks to stumpy too! And glad! You all are some stand up dudes for real. And thanks to tiptop even for the tough love, I'll try and get my head out of my ass.

I'd do the 100w HPS with another 100 or so watts of cfls, you could have 2 very nice plants... 5-6 oz yield.. Better than not having anything going.. I'm not a "go big or go home" person, I have a true passion for growing so I'd have one growing under 2 busted cfl's if I had no other choice lol.

I am in soil and idk if I could ever make the switch, and you are a little far away( gas +shitty car+ no license so the lady would have to drive) but I definitely think we should make some sort of equipment donation service for people that need it. I have a 400 watt mh bulb and a 600 hps bulb that I would like to throw in.

I don't have any issue with the cheap lumewing hoods. I don't need to air cool in my basement.. I might now that I'm adding another light but that one has an air cooled hood but I don't really plan on needing it. Maybe I'm missing out on something else with the better hoods I dunno.

Lolol exactly, thats why i keep referring to a "decent setup" i am not that far from getting this together, but have hit.a brick wall $ wise. Hence the looking for cheaper meds to get me by in meantime

Nope it's against the forum rules, members aren't even allowed to give shit to other members, sorry guys. The rule was made by the owners attorney so I guess there's a good reason for it.
