I don't know what apparitions are but Ive witnessed a few. Do you guys think the younger we are the more susceptible we are to it? ?
Damn I'm glad I have a skeptical mind. None of that stuff scares me at all. Complete freedom.
drugs open said eye i think thats why i get all spiritual when i smokeYes we are, we are more open minded, non judgemental and children, we are dumbed down over time. Flouride is in the water, which deposits in the penial gland in the brain, and impairs your third eye.
wow...i didnt know that! where did you see that? thats really interesting. i dont really consume too much water from the tap and stuff...and my pineal gland seems to be working beautifully...so thats a really interesting tidbit dude, i'll have to look into that further. thanksYes we are, we are more open minded, non judgemental and children, we are dumbed down over time. Here is one about the third eye and the pineal gland

those are some really interesting examples! the one with the lights, i've seen that too. i have no idea what causes it but i do wonder if theres an explanation regarding eyesight. i know that when you have a problem with your eyes you can see bright lights...so im not sure. and with the crawl space having sounds...a lot of times, if you have spirits in your home, they'll reside in places that arent "high traffic" areas...like crawl spaces, attics, etc. and that last one with your school bag is really interesting! like an actual physical manipulation...thats good stuffhey all, i dunno if any of these really compare to any of your experiences, but ive had a couple of interesting moments over the past 10 years or so... all of which have occurred in my room...
on many occasions ive had a bright white streak across the ceiling at night, and i always have the curtains closed in there, and no devices in my room flash, it happens really quickly and happens fairly regularly, like probably about ten times a year...
ive also heard loud bangs and thumps coming from the crawl space in my walls, but we do not have any rats or anything so that was a bit curious... however im willing to write that off as maybe expansion/contraction due to temperature, or swelling and movement of the clay the house is built on due to rain etc...
but the third experience, which scared the shit out of me (as i was just getting to sleep) was when i was in about yr 9 and my school bag "fell" out of my cupboard one night... the reason the word fell is in inverted commas is because when i went to pick it up it was about 3 meters away from the cupboard, and was only a foot off the ground when it was in it...
It could also be the other way around though. Maybe the people are atheists/nonbelievers because they never had any of those experiences, or have them a lot less.Does the fact that this kind of stuff happens less to atheists/nonbelievers mean anything to anyone?
Why would that be? Someone answer that for me.
I'm not religious, I think it happens to me because I was never told that there's no such things as ghosts, and if people did tell me, I already believed because all this stuff started at a young age. My Mum recently told me she used to do astral projection, so may be it could be inherited???Does the fact that this kind of stuff happens less to atheists/nonbelievers mean anything to anyone?

An inherited perception/ style of intelligence is quite likely. Many members of my mothers family in the past were either Spiritualists or Philosphers. I imagine the ability to see beyond all that is obvious is either genetic, or passed down from a parents interests/experiences.I'm not religious, I think it happens to me because I was never told that there's no such things as ghosts, and if people did tell me, I already believed because all this stuff started at a young age. yes. i've experienced little time changes here and there, but there is one major one that sticks out in my head...i just typed up this experience in another thread like, yesterday lol. so i'll just copy/paste it into here.Philly - I would say i'm on that 4th phase, I plan on meditating regularly in the near future as I've always thought deep and seen deeper. Any tips?

When I was younger I remember seeing 'ghosts', even a cat, rather strangely, was often walking the halls of my old house. It was a cold home, the first day we moved in, my father opened the door to the cellar as I stood next to him. I somehow fell, as if being pushed down the stone steps and landed by a giant rusted nail. I still have its scar about
5cm above my eye, my brow ridges having saved me, it was no random occurence. Noises were regular and oddities effected most who came indoors. Nobody has ever settled there, I still live nearby and see the house for sale once or twice every year.
Anybody here experienced a 'time change'? I've had 2!
Once I visited a friendly yet strange, wooden interiored stone shop which we had never seen before (the shop, not the building). The shopkeeper took a sort of proud interest of me and charged near nothing for the rocks. I left with my fossil and stones, yet the shop was gone the next day, nobody had ever seen such a place being there!
Another time, I was walking our old pet dog by a nearby ruined castle, lots of people in 'real costume' were walking around, carrying out daily duties as if it were a day in history. Several of whom we assumed were role-players acknowledged us as we walked through the grounds, but on returning just minutes later from the next field, the place was deserted as normal!
I would like to point out, as it's been mentioned, I've have countless UFO and related bizzare experiences, but I don't generally class them together with ghosts etc. If anybody wants to know more about these experiences, Ill tell.
And how high were you at the time?one of the times really bugged me out. i remember every vivid little detail, it really weired me out. i was getting ready for bed. i went from my room to the kitchen, i had to put away ice cream, the kitchen clock said 12:25. my bedroom clock was 3 minutes slow, so it would have been 12:22 there. i went back in my room and laid in bed...i spent a couple minutes trying to get comfortable, but it was too hot in my room so i decided to go lay on the couch in the living room. so i went out there, and tried to get comfortable out there...but the ceiling fan was making a ton of squeaky noise. i laid out there for about 10 minutes, maybe 15. definitely more than 5 minutes though, i was out there a while. but when i finally gave up trying to get comfortable on the couch, and went back to my bed, my clock in my room said 12:24. so according to my clock it had only been 2 mins since i put my ice cream away. but i spent at least 2-5 in my room before i even went out to the living room to try the couch...it screwed me right up. oh and i wanted to mention as well that i checked both clocks, just to be sure that my clock hadnt just glitched or something.
i was actually completely sober lolAnd how high were you at the time?
Nah, lapses in time are very unnusual, it often happens to me too, where I definatley know I've been occupied far longer than any displayed time. Time is a strange thing, constant but variable. Good to hear Sarah. I should probably start a seperate thread about time shifts, rather than blocking up this one.
