damn sorry to hear that man. you couldn't make hash or anything with the hermied bud?

yo that was a sick mini tutorial... I'm not sure if u seen that dudes question because he didn't quote you but i have the same question... what humidity do you keep the clones at and at what point do you keep the dome off? i think i might have to get a heat mat though because my temps are mid-low 70s
I could, I don't honestly know what to do with it, there's no seeds, no micro seeds, but something went terribly wrong that I've never seen before, I can't even explain it really.. Im still trimming tops, it also looks like the next 5 plants are completely fine, so I'm gonna have 1.5 to 2lbs I think, but only a majority of the plants, all the buds below the very tops were realllllllyyyyyyyy wierd, I also found some dud branches :( ugh, what a shit ending haha.

This is what I thought was hermied bud but it's not, I dunno wtf happened, it must have been the root demolition on day 1 of flower and maybe the plant couldn't handle flowering all the buds out proper, I dunno, I'm so upset though :( the good buds are fire but damn there's so much of the wierd shit I don't know what to do with

That is weird af, but def nothing to do with herm. I haven't had anything close like that happen with this cut though. Normally, even the lower buds a rock hard with that one. You've seen it. Weird. I would def trim that smaller shit though.

At first I spray/mist the underside of the dome. From there, I'm just looking for there to be some moisture on the walls. Not much, but some. I very rarely have to spray the domes more than that first initial time. This has everything to do with buying a good tray/dome combo. Make sure that the dome fits snug onto the tray. There's a whole bunch of different brands out nowadays. Not all were meant to fit perfectly together. It's lame, I know. But if you stick with everything mondi, it works;-)

I start out with the vents closed. As soon as I see some roots poping, I open the vents a quarter, followed by all the way when most are rooted. I remove the dome when they're ready to be transplanted, but what I do is spray/mist the cuts with water, and watch them. Usually they'll be fine, but some might wilt after a bit(rare) because they were used to all the humidity, but that is why we gradually open them vents. To get them ready for this stage;-)
If none of them wilt, I transplant a couple hours after taking the dome off.

Oh yeah, I like to lift the domes 1-2 times a day, and blow on the cuts. Other than that, remember to keep them plugs(same with using cubes to root in) slightly warm to the touch.

atleast the bud you had that was good looks REALLY good, i couldn’t even source bud like that in real life with all those trichomes/crystals lol that was from the suspended pots in the ebb and grow buckets? but if all the bad stuff looks like the bottom pic it looks like its going to be a real bitch to trim but at least even the bad stuff would look dank as fuck if you trim it up good... id personally either turn it to hash or cut the stems off and pass it off as shake or popcorn nugs if patients or dispensaries will take that where you’re from because it still looks good as hell... as long as theres no seeds i definitely wouldn’t throw it away though, fuck that lol.

yeah my dome/tray seal perfectly, so basically in review… you

cut the clone

put it in a warm rapid rooter with no nutes or maybe a weak solution

spray the dome the first day, keep the vents closed. don’t foliar feed

leave the rapid rooters in there and leave them alone

once the rapid rooters are drying out use a weak/warm nute solution and let the rooter wick it up

once some roots pop open vent 1/4 way, and more and more as more are rooted

keep dome on until transplanted

on transplant day give em a spray to prevent wilting

it seem like you don’t really need to do anything, just sit back and make sure the rooter/dome is wet because i don’t see you needing to soak the rooter often,
do you only need to water the rooter like once or twice during the cloning process? i can’t see the rooter getting dry very fast with the dome closed and no fan or no constant air circulation plus the rooter must be very very wet after wicking all the water

You got it!
Don't forget to lift the dome once a day and blow on them part;-)

OK, all wasn't bad, I'm at about 2lb of chunky dank tops. My last 4 plants had no issues at all and had nice buds all the way to the bottom, each plant 3+ zips. I still don't know what was up, but I'm going to say it was the root issue.

Zero seeds, so no herm. Just wierd shit happened. But all in all, it wasn't too bad I guess, still a pound a light not including the messed up buds

This strain kind of pulled me through in the clutch with it's dense as hell tops, I can work with what I got especially with how things ended up, I'm actually really surprised it ended up OK :)

Still trimming though

Alpha,

How do you mix your nutes? One by one in the rez or do you mix them up in a separate container and slowly pour it into the rez?
