Alpha,

When you mix up nutes how do you do it? Do you fill the rez and then mix the nutes in a milk jug/bucket and add as necessary until you reach the desired ppm in the rez?
I fill the res and add nutes slowly to the res while I'm stirring. A little unorthodox, but that's how I've always done it so I don't want to change it lol

Yeah, i want a good wifi again for sure.
I'm fricken killing it with the gg4. I'll be growing that one for a while:-)
I have a nice wifi
Hell yeah man, I can't wait to run them, just put some into flower today, stretchy fuckers in veg so I can only imagine what will happen in flower lol. Just doing a sea of green with em this round. My mendo Breath #1 turns jet black too, not sure if my mendo #2 does yet, it smells nice though, just no color yet at week 6
nice

Where the clones from the same mom?
Yeah, same mom, just some were more hardy when flowered, plus I demolished them on day 1 of flower lol. I literally had to rip off the whole root system off each plant because the way I vegged them was a test that failed. Well, it didn't fail, they vegged the best I've ever had plants veg before, but when it was time to flower, the root system of 18 plants became 1. So a few variables at play lol.

Oh, the mendo #2 is starting to turn purple now woot!

Do you have any pics of your WiFi? We want a Hella nice one, Aero has a few going but I don't think he's flowered them yet
Haven't ran since I got this phone, unfortunately my last w years of pics fell into a clone mixture a few months ago. I also have a sweet gg4 cut, I must say the wifi is top shelf but the gg is private reserve.
I have a sick skywalker og that's good to go day 56....

hey alpha sorry this is a bit off topic but you still start clones in rapid rooters right? i was wondering whats your technique behind cloning to get them rooting fast as possible? it seems like some people believe in foliar spraying and some like keeping a 1/4" of water in the tray for the plug to absorb and just keep really high humidity or some do both. and one of my clones just started poking 2 little roots (its been 10 days) but I'm not sure how i should maintain it. meaning idk if i should dip the plug in a bowl of water with nutes or put water in the tray or just keep the humidity up in the dome and make sure the plug stays moist from humidity, idk what i should do to maintain. btw thanks to you i got my vegging plants on track (for the most part) so thank you for that

He doesn't use rapid rooters, i do though.
Best trick is maintaining the proper temps. I like my clone facility to be right around 82-83f. The plugs should feel slightly warm to the touch, not hot, and def not cold.
Here's how i water them: i take an empty tray and fill about halfway with water/very weak nute solution, and put the rapid rooter tray with the cuts into it. I pull the rapid rooter tray with cuts out when they are wet again. Takes about 5min usually.

i thought he used too so i thought id ask but thanks for the reply, i have a temp controlled heat mat i have it set on 80 the temp inside the dome stay around 77, and the plugs do feel a bit cold should i bring the temp to like 84? it stays like a -3/+1 degrees to the set temp range... so basically you dip the rooters in water/weaknute so the water reaches like halfway up the rooter and gets it wet right? how often do you do this and would you use warm water? do you spray the leaves in the dome too?

Day 62 - harvest day

Not all plants were as big as the one in the pic, only 2/3 of them were. If I get 2.5oz each plant that'll be 1.5lb per light, but I feel it's a 2lb+ per light since 2/3 of the plants look to be 5ozers (I hope) :) maybe I killed it this run, we will see in a week when it's dry

I personally don't like using heating matts. I perfer to keep the temp where the trays with cuts are, to right around 82-83. But you gotta do what you gotta do;-)
But yes, get it it where those plugs feel luke warm.
I would say I shoot for about 1/4-1/3 up the plugs with when watering them, let them wick it up.
Here's a pick I just took. I got liquored yesterday so forgot to check on them last night. They are a little too dry this morning:-D

Here's an empty tray with my water/very weak nute solution about half way up
image.jpeg
I stick the tray with plugs in there until they all get dark. You can tell when they are all wet. Notice how the plug in the pic is almost completely wet. In 10 more seconds it was.

Those cuts were taken about 6 days ago. I'm pretty sure that was the first time I watered them. They are just starting to pop roots.

Oh yeah, don't spray the leaves, spray the underside of the dome if needed. The only time I need to do this is at first.

I'll get back to ya when I get home bro, running some errands quick, I can give ya a few options for cloning

wow thank you very much for explaining that to me with the pics i appreciate it.... maybe one of my problems is I've been foliar feeding so much (2-3x per day) which I've read can be bad because it almost makes the plant fine with living off the water its getting from the leaves so it feels like it doesn't need to make roots (but I've seen a shit ton of people foliar feeding too so figured id try it since i wasn't watering the plug) but thats crazy they were starting to pop in 6 days without doing anything, just having the right environment. but 2 more questions if you don't mind lol.... what humidity do you keep them at and at what point do you take the dome off?

Well, these hermied the fuck out bad. Looking like maybe a lb of usable bud and a couple pounds of shit that's going in the garbage.. for 2000w of lights. Kind of throws a wrench into my expectations. I won't be growing it again, hoping nothing happened to my mendo.

Had a pin hole light leak for a few hrs one day, that must have caused it, or the transfer from veg to flower with the root issues.

Pissed off. Good day. Thanks for following the thread.

damn sorry to hear that man. you couldn't make hash or anything with the hermied bud?

yo that was a sick mini tutorial... I'm not sure if u seen that dudes question because he didn't quote you but i have the same question... what humidity do you keep the clones at and at what point do you keep the dome off? i think i might have to get a heat mat though because my temps are mid-low 70s
