Alright guys,
I'm not religious. Plain and simple. dont believe in ghosts either. I am posting this because at first it was a strange coincodence but as of today, its different. Its something.
All starts when my brother was 8 and I was 3. I obviously remember jack shit. by the way, totally baked right now so sorry for any confusing terminology or spelling, try to bare with me.
My brother was with his buddy, matt, who we is still to this day friends with(25+ years) were in the basement playing with toys n shit. Tuffy (the snappy american eskimo) started barking furiously from the bottom of the stairs - to the washer drier area (behind the stairs towards the right) Matt looks over and to this day will say, he saw the grim reaper floating above the ground, semi transparent going from right to left into the oiltank/workroom. My brother says he saw a ghost-like cloud of black mist in the shape of a person floating a few inches off the ground from right to left into the workroom. All 3 ran up the stairs running like little girls. Dog even tripped and broke a nail - blood everywhere.
Skip foward - I was 13 and my brother was 18. We were staying in new york city, 8th floor of the sky-scrapper hotel or something like that. On the 8th floor, the flag pole was on a ledge out the windows. I mean 20 ft waving flags with steel cables banging the aluminum pole. ALL NIGHT. hardly slept. staying in a 2 queen bed room, with my parents in the other bed, I finally fell asleep. I had a dream I was at the bottom of the stairs in my house. By myself, I started walking towards the washer drier area, I stop, and felt ice cold instantly. I saw the cloud zoom quickly from further right in the corner, towards to washer/drier. As I looked at it, it paused, and I focused on it in total fear. It turned towards me and continues left on its path. It looked like a hazy cloud of a grimp reapor. I woke up screaming frantically. No one could shut me up. My brother was punching the shit out of me, and I still hardly calmed down. In a hotel at 4AM, not cool.
Didnt know about the first story until on the car ride back south to MD, my family started talking about ghosts and I linked the two episodes in great detail.
Well after years and years of tripping, and wake and baking, smoking my bong for lunch at work, and smoking 2 blunts a days, I've moved out and stopped caring.
My mom told me she saw a ghost at school today. Not relevent but I've also been reading a lot about astral travel and research on OBE's. I've tripped so hard on LSD, that everything was energy. I was in infinite space communicating with orbs of light, tasting color and hearing smells. I ran around my house as fast as I could with my girlfriend but we never really left the room. But I still remember it like it was a few minutes ago.
Started talking and apparently my mothers been experiencing heavy sleep paralysis. She feels her eyes in REM and screams to my father for help but he cant hear anything. She tries to move but she feels a weight on her chest.
Stopped by for dinner and started talking about sleep paralysis and OBE's... They said they were afraid to tell me when I was younger because I would get scared....thanks guys! I'm still scared! Apparently my father was in the basement alone while my brother was 4 and I wasnt even born. He was shuffling boxes by the washer drier room and saw a shadow cast from the window. He stood up and the shadow moved and formed a human like shape. At first he though a cloud blocking the sun until he saw a definite shape of a person in a black mist. He got really scared. goose bumps. hair on neck standing up. Then says "fuck this. this is my house. I'm not letting this thing scare me." and then he thought "okay but its being peaceful" as the cloud floating in mid air in front of him. He walked towards it and it traveled towards the furnace and disappeared instantly. He claims "it was in broad day. 2 in the afternoon. No one was home. It wasnt like I was tired or dreaming. I was wide awake in the middle of the day. I know I saw it."
I thought about it as I left and couldnt stop thinking about it. So 4+ males (5+ males if you include tuffy) saw this figure in the same spot doing basically the same thing traveling the opposite direction of any kind of furnace cloud (not that those even occur) towards the furnace and in tight human like shape.
heres where it gets weirder. everyone is afraid of my parents basement. Matt (brothers friend) still bitches like a girl at the thought of going downstairs. My brother feels edgy and never goes down. Mother, father, girlfriend, all feel like theyre being watched down there.
A few times I've been cleaning behind the furnace in a certain location and feel like there is a gravity field pushing me down from 6 ft to 4 ft tall. my head feels light and I feel pushed out of the section (between furnace and wall, about a 2ft gap and all kinds of duct work overhead).
Am I tripping out or does anyone else have a similar story or know of one with an ending/solution. I thought it was good enough of a story (for being true) to make a thread. you be the judge.
