germinating methods

i noticed in the grow faq that there is only the plate method. also in 1 of the stickies is the plate method.

i have had good results with the paper towel and plate but ive heard some other interesting ways as well.

so lets hear urs. so far i have heard of:

plate method
pint glass method
shot glass method
plant in soil method


im not too sure about the shot glass method. it seems to be the easiest way but, wouldnt the seeds drown?

also, it would be helpful if you could mention if yo've had 100% success rate with ur method.

i have ordered 6 seeds and would like them all to germ. ive had 100% rate with plate method so atm im staying with this.

plate, paper towel, freezer bag, top of fridge 100 %every time for me

99.9% on soaking in water for 24-48 hours before they get placed in soil

also, ive heard of ppl soaking seeds in a paper towl and then putting them in ziplock bag. any1 have 100% germ rate with that?

i think im still going to be going with the plate method at the moment but i would like to hear from someone in particular who has done the shot glass method. this would be a very easy method for me since i have 4 strains and 6 seeds. would be easy to identify them
