Setup: 500 w blackstar led running 24/7
flood and drain: 27 gal rez, h&g flakes full line, pH 6.0, EC 1.6, water temp 70, tap water 200ppm-no chloramines-set out 2 days b4 using
room temp 78F, rH 70,
Let me start by saying these plants have been through hell and back. For the first 2 wks of their life there was no A/C in the room at all and the temps were blazing around 90's. So my scenario is the room and water conditions look ok. Where I think I may have gone wrong is I put the plants on LED lights yesterday almost 1-2" away from the plants which probably caused the claw effect, white burn spots, and drying of the leaves. Anybody agree/disagree?? Today I moved the light about 1 ft above them. I started the seeds slightly over a month ago and they look mini mutant bushes about 2-3" high. This definitely doesn't look right. Anybody have similar problems or know if they're going to bounce back and grow bigger? I'm definitely worried about herms at this point. It also looks like I'm seeing pistils or something. Is this normal at about a month?
On a side note I have the plants in 8" net pots. It takes the pumps 30 min to get 1-2" to the bottom of the rapid rooters they're in before the pump stops. Is this ok? Also do i have to put them in something bigger like bigger blocks of rockwool to grow out or can i just leave them in hydroton for the rest of their lives without putting them into bigger cubes?
should i be doing anything else at this point? thanks
