Ganjas Back!1000w Perpetual SOG ] Ebb 'n' Flow

whats up guys...little update....everything is going well with the flower room....tray 2 is doing really well...bud sites all over...can start to see cola structures...they are skunkin it up with that oh so distinctive sour d smellreally easy tray to run so far....ph 6.1 ppm 894 temp 69f..

tray 1 is doing great as well...plant are getting huge in the tray....came through about 3 days after they went in and did a mild final trim....wont be removing any more growth....if tray get to cluttered ill simply remove a few plants from the tray and flower elsewhere....ph 5.8 ppm temp 68f..

one prob i do have is i have 2 sick moms that are starting to yellow throughout the whole plant...im thinking it nitrogen def, but doesnt nitrogen usually hang out and yellow the lower leaves??or does it spread throughout???the two strains are romulan and 707....i got them as clones in rockwool...once they rooted i put them in hempy buckets....they did fine for about 2 weeks and then i started noticing that growth basically shut down on them both...they werent over/under watered or over/under nuted....so i got scared and pulled them both out and transplanted into FFOF.....this was today, so we will see how they react....im having problems with basically every plant that i had in hempy...those 2 i just explained, and i had 12 seedling started in rockwool, one tap root emerged from bottom, waited 2 days and put in hempy party cups....same thing with them...leaves started to shrivle up, started to yellow and just completely stopped growing...so last night i transplanted all those into party cups of FFLW...and holy fuck they took off like rockets in these last two days....so maybe that will happen with the romulan and 707...when i transplanted i gave them a healthy dose on N, so well see if they turn around...didnt take any pics of the rom or 707, but ill try to get a couple up tomm so u can see what im talking about....in the pic of the seedlings, if u look at the 2 seedling to the very right, u will notice they are bigger that the others...they were started in FFLW because i ran out of perlite when i was makin the hempys...and they have done fine all along, but u can see in comparison how much the other seedlings are lagging behing...all seeds were planted on the same day....thanks and looking for help...ganja

Not sure what it could be, never done hempy. Im sure the transplant will do some good. Have you done hempy before?

yeah it sucks bro...but they are looking 100X better today....this was my first time doing hempy....but i def researched and studied the shit outta all the hempy threads i could fine, but idk, i ufcked up somewhere along the line...one thing that i did do diff than most people with hempy do, is i didnt use any vermiculite...my mix was 100%perlite, but i didnt think that would hurt anything...and im still not sure what the problem was...but i knew that by putting them in soil(something i have much experience with)i would be able to nurse them back...maybe the moral of the story is stick to what i know....im sure hempy is easy like everybody says, but it didnt work for me....

heres some pics of the sick plants i was talking about last night....this is the romulan(right)....i have it next to my JH just so u can get a comparison of what the rest of my plants look like, regarding color....

and here is the 707 Headband(right)...also in picture with the JH for comparison....now this one is worse than the romulan...i just noticed this morning when i was taking pics that its starting to get rust spots on some of the leaves now also...im just baffled at what the ufck went wrong with the hempy....anyway heres the headband.

Yeah thats weird man, they almost just look hungry to me, like a N deficiency or something. Not sure how hempy could cause that tho, but like you said its better to sticc with what you kno. They dont look too bad at all, they should bounce bac in no time.

what is funny is im seeing yellowing on my hempy plants using OC+. The potential bud sites are starting to yellow on the inner part of the leaves. So under my LED light it looks golden lol. I was thinking N DEF as well and have not looked into it much. I dont think it is hempy per say but just may be an error on our part. Maybe they need more N the longer they grow and new growth that appears. But last time i did check when u get a N def it does start down low and work its way up cuz the plant uses the N stored in the lower leaves. Well that what I thought maybe that pertains to the flowering stage only. I know the more I read the more I am inclined to start either a coco grow or soil. Perhaps maybe both. Lovely grow btw brother. +REP!

yeah hopefully they are just under fed....im not to worried about them, just wanted some other opinions....i really dont know what the reason was, but it gives me a chance to still dabble with dirt...so im kinda stoked about that...so well give them a couple days and see how the respond to the treatment i gave them.....at transplant i gave them 5ml cal mag,10ml cs17 grow,2ml superthrive,3ml hygrozhyme and 1/4 scoop grteatwhite mycorrhiza. ill keep yas posted on how they react...thanks for the help....ganja

yeah bro, i dont think its a result of the hempy doing it to the plants, rather than me fuckin them up...i transferred mine all back to soil, so i have no hempy pots at all anymore....i transplanted and gave a nive dose of nutes to see how she responds to it all...the easiest way to correct a N def is simply give them food that is high in N...bat guano if u have access to it is high in N i believe...could be wrong though...i just bump up my veg nutes a lil and it seemed to correct it when it happened to me before.....ill keep ya posted bro....lata...ganja

Hey ganja just got a question or two for ya.. First i read that u have zero veg time and your plants run up to about 18 inches by finish how much do u pull per plant on average using zero veg? Also do u have ur rockwool out into regular flower pots they dont look like net pots to me.. Just curious thx man u have a nice set up going looks like its workin out for ya

what up brownie and thanks for stoppin by.....the yield would be strain dependant, but usually shoot for a 1/4 to 1/2 per plant this way....yes, i have the rockwool going right into 5x5 square pots....they are just regular square pots....i dont put any extra holes or anything and they flood fine.....i flood for 10 minutes, 5 times during lights on and 0 during lights out....hope this helps ya ....peace...ganja

thanks sicc...i was stressin over those things a week ago and know they look like totally diff plants..im not complaining though, believe me...i got so much going on, in/out of the lab, that i didnt have time to worry about those too....but were in the clear...but theres another prob and the seedsmans northern lights looks nothing like a NL, at all..it looks like its a straight sativa, and nothing like a indica...just judging by the leaves....i quess thats what u get when u buy from the seedsman because ive read where others have had the same suspicions...i have indicas growing side by side next to the NL and they look nothing alike either...so whatever happens happens, but im not holding my breath on the 42-49 day flowering period that they advertise either....whaoteva....time will only tell....ganja

i aquired 3 new flavs for the lineup...i now have rooted cuts of Sannies Extrema, TGA Vortex and a unknown cutt of Blue Dream...im super stocked about the tga cuts..as ive heard/read nothing but good things about them
i wanna see my trays full of some heady vortex nuggsthe blue dream is the bigger of the 3 in the pic and the exrema is top left and vortex is top right...

Hey ganga, how do you acquire new strains? is there like groups you go to and swap things round or something? nothing like that near me and dont trust anybody to tell them i have something to swap.
i want to get some new strains too but id have to go from seed. any ideas on what to go with next? ive got a kush already so was thinking about a SD too as you make it sound so nice.

Sucs about the NL, i had some NL i grew outdoors last year, wasnt too impressed. I think i got some funky seeds as well, one of them was a triploid or whatever with 3 nodes.

the blue dream (super silver haze x blueberry) is a clone only from a club in southern cali.

i agree there are tons of weak NLs out there... but you still have to grow to know for sure.

my personal adgenda & what i recommend, all you got to do is pony up for some bomb NL genetics from sensi, dr. atomic, or joey weed.

i have no problem buying a $150-$200 pack of 15 sensi NL #5... even if i save for them.

a one time investment for people like us (that clone) requires only one plant to be "right" for the payback.

cuts, cuts, cuts after that.
