Perhaps he wants a measurement from 20" from the side of the light fixture to see if and/or how much the light degrades? I would say take a reading at the canopy top then move the meter 20" to the side and see what it reads? I'm only speculating of course but that would be a way to see how much coverage is ideal for the fixture.
They should if it is still under warranty. What are you growing? Got any pictures of the grow and the bad light?

The pleasure is all mine bro! I love how your plants are reacting to that panel! Please keep doing what you are doing and posting updates when you can! If you ask me we have too few growers stepping out of the box and doing what others are afraid to, whether out of necessity or out of a pioneering spirit, it is so good to witness it here. It will give others hope, like me, that they too can use LED panels in their grows from start to finish, in such confined spaces, and produce quality medicine for themselves and others. Exactly right N2L. I suppose the best way to check the footprint is to set the panel at 20" then measure the PAR peak at the center on the ground then move the sensor to each of the 4 sides and mark where the PAR begins to drop lower and that would be the panel footprint. Of course that is in my limited understanding of it.
Here is a few pics of the light.. been trying to call for almost a week and no one has called me back or anserd the phone.. light is only 3 mouths old.. so will in the warranty.. hope this not one of those companys that say they have a warranty and dont fulfill it.. other then the 1 light going bad. the light looks to be doing good.. wish magnum or greenguy whould call me back.. i hope my $800.00 was not wasted on JUNK.. and NEW2LED if u know someone working with magnum or greenguy post something that i can use to get it fixed plz... Thxs and your grow is looking good BTW..
just sucks because ive only heard good things from magnum. and for them to not anser there phone at all seems fishy.. but im hoping new2led may have some ansers for me.
