Pretty hard to argue with the results so far, BUT, vegging is easy. Flowering separates the pretenders

You bet, I will be trimming the bottms up... but, we could always leave the bottoms in tact and see how well this thing penetrates the canopy! The last time I saw bush this thick it was on this sweet little jewish babe I banged back in the 90s ;)

You said it bro! so far this thing is doing a dandy job but the proof is in the flowering ability. I'm pretty anxious to see what happens over the next 2 months cause there is no way I can run HID in my space and this puppy will be the only chance I have to get up and running.

This looks like a lot of fun. Leds have come a long way. I remember buying a glowpanel back in the day and wondering how they were going to make leds truly compete. Can't wait to see the results a couple months from now. Man, this light with a light mover would be ridiculous in a veg room! Keep up the good work, and stay frosty my friend.
Sincerely,
ILovePlants

I agree this light veges unreal, I got a pm from another g2 user that has 8 of these on a rack system that run 24/7 and moves them between two rooms through a little light tight channel he built. He is flowering right now and sent me a few pics of what I can expect. looks pretty damn impressive.

29 days of veg, I'm going to cut the screen today and install it as well as trim off some of the bottom growth and take clones from the 2 really good phenos.

Can I ask why you waited this long to flip with that amount of height in your grow area????^^^^ Your gonna have quite the battle on your hands grower. We are about to find out if bleaching stunts flower development :P

Good luck

because of my limited height and plant count i wanted to lst the plants as much as possible to fill the 4x4 footprint. I figured if I could LST 5 plants to fill the 4x4 and then scrog this grow I would end up with all bud 6 inches above the screen and just flower that. I've never grown in a confined space like this before and this is basically the test to see if I can get a decent run off of one of these lights in this space.

Ah......I think your in for a rude awakening if you believe that's the case friend. Looks like you have a foot of wiggle room ATM before the stretch(even with a screen) and with that high wattage led panel you should be at LEAST 15 inches away from the canopy at all times to prevent stunting.but wtf do I know, maybe you pull it off!. Get your Cal/mag ready!;-) and if shit hits the fan, dump half your girls and flip your pots horizontally or use very aggressive super cropping(snap main stalks)

Edit.....I wouldn't install the screen at all, its gonna limit your options when you realize the predicament your in.

Good luck
