yeah i want just one monster anyway...talked to scotty and said for me to get vanilla kush and sour diesel...im gonna get 5 kush 3 sour and 5 pe i belive...from tude trying to find a place to get prepaid credit card..any suggestions anyone??//

Interesting that he suggested VK...I've got one waiting to be germinated whenever the PE is done. Considering buying another for when I run both waterfarms next time around...Need a bigger grow tent, and more light though.

Thanks for dropping in on my grow man, updated some more pics today. Your plants are just getting bushier by the second. No probs about the comment, its the closest thing av seen to scotty balls grow so far, and even the great balls man himself couldnt offer any further advice apart from on your cam, so good times!

No problem BudLuvin, anytime. And I'm pretty sure you typo'ed, but in case you didn't it's just one plant, not plants. And Scotty couldn't offer any advice because his grow journal made growing as simple as it needs to be instead of over complicating things like a lot of people seem to want to do. I was very suspicious at first, but now I see why he stressed keeping it simple.

I honestly have no idea at this point...I assume I'll be able to give a rough estimate in a week or two when the bud formation is a little further along. As far as actual tops/colas the potential is there for more than 8, but I'll just have to wait and see.

Amen bro, keping it simple is the way to go! i learned/learning the hard way.... yeh my bad, was a typo, but you got so much bush going on could very well be two plants. Have you checked out Pukka buds canna grow? makes for interesting reading... thats what inspired me to shove the runt in some canna.

Yeah it could be two....in fact I'm pretty sure I vegged too long, because the fan leaves coming from the tops above the screen are huge and there's way too much growth crammed in there. I'm so worried about the bud sites getting enough light to develop into thick buds...I don't want airy-buds, or not a majority of them. Would like to have a few logs to brag about hah. And yeah I have, he was one of the first people to comment on my grow so I had to make sure he had a green enough thumb to bother listening to, and it turned out he did...very impressive for something not in a waterfarm as well Update w/ pics in a little while, need to medicate first.

Still can't manage to get any good shots of the bud formation....that may be because its slowly getting along. I'm curious if I'm where I should be for 2 weeks of flowering? If anyone can tell from looking at the pics let me know.

Hi buddy lookin good, gunna all start happnin now in the next couple of weeks bet your buzzin,.......if any of the big fan leafs above the screen are blockin bud sites bro trim them out your still good to in early flower, i did a lot about 3rd week of flower and it improved the light spread down low real good!!!

Thanks Pukka. So if I trim out about 20-30 large fan leaves from above the screen it won't diminish the yield any? I just don't want to remove too many fan leaves as I know they're used for photosynthesis, but at the same time I don't want to cram all my bud sites.

No mate wont diminish the yield but your right there used for photoynthesis its all about gettin the right balance as long as you got a nice green coverin when you look from above like leafs fullin all the space your good, but like leafs over the top of other leafs you dont need bro and its better to allow light to 1 of your tops then to have a big fan leaf in the way you get me???
1st try and bend, tuck any leafs that are blockin light then any you cant move snip out if your thinkin of doin 30 id do it over a few days like 5 or somethin and do like 6 a day till your good you will benifit more with all bud sites gettin a even cover then you will with loads of fan leafs and blocked bud sites!!
With all the healthy leafs you got bro you will be good you have more then enough for the plant to produce, like i was at this stage real bushy and i noticed some of the bud sites looked under developed but once i trimmed they all cought up!!!.......good luck bro i know it can be a little hard to chop your girl but it will help out a lot i think!!

Alright I'll give it a shot over the next week or so...I have been bending/tucking the large fan leaves that I can back under the screen...but the small fan leaves become big ones faster than I can tuck it seems, and I'm running out of room to tuck so I guess trimming is my only option more or less. I guess it makes sense that any site that has two leaves overlapping is more or less a waste of space, so I'll try trimming up those areas first. And yes...the tops that are around the furthest outside edge of the plant are the most under-developed ones, as if the light hits the center and it's been stretching, but then it stops the light from shining down to the outside growth....I did re-arrange a few small tops the other night, and when I came back this time they had caught up...I guess it'll take some trimming to get the other runts to catch back up. I'll go by tonight and start, thanks for the tips.

Btw Pukka, just skimmed over the rest of your first Canna grow...fantastic fucking job man. That plant was a monster, and the buds were amazing. How'd she end up smoking?

Went by a little while ago and tucked a good deal of large fan leaves down through the screen, then I trimmed off about 8 or so to clear up some of the areas. I think it looks a lot better, and one or two more rounds should finish her up until its time to chop her down. Also, I've been waiting on the actual tops of the colas to start to look like hairy little balls, and tonight when I stopped by she had begun to resemble exactly that. Tried to snap a photo of what I'm talking about, but it may be hard to see as I had to use a cell phone cam. Also counted the tops, and there are 30 larger ones, and 9 smaller tops, give or take a few of the smaller ones as the canopy is so dense I can't see all of it. Should be a good harvest assuming I can get them all to develop some dense frosty buds.

Cool bro lookin alot better all ready, im thinkin you should yield good with all those colas, just remember you want light to hit the full colar top to bottom if not you'l end up with a nice fat bud on top of each colar and a lot of popcorn lower down, i no you prob no that its just i had i guy the other day who thought if just the top of the colar had light the rest low down would grow lol

Thanks, I'm hoping soo too. And yeah I was aware that the full cola needed light, not just the top...if that was the case then I could have just left the canopy alone as mostly all the tops were getting light, just not the full thing. I'll be able to clear it up some more, but I'm sure there are a few tops that will still turn into little pop corn bud, which is fine by me as long as I get a few big ones I'll be pleased. Have to go by tonight and refill the res I believe, so I'll try to clear up some more room for her.

Day 19
Trimmed some more fan leaves off tonight...I've already removed about 30 and it could use one more trimming I guess....I'm a little nervous about the amount of leaves I had to remove, and the fact that it needs to have a few more removed isn't helping. Otherwise things are going just fine I believe...Finally managed to get the camera to focus up close a little, so here are s0ome pics I snapped.
