Funky smell coming from my reservoir??

Is this normal? Maybe just the nutes? I'm NOT using organic...actually House and Garden A+B Aqua flakes. Could also be the water pump maybe? or mold...I dont know. Also here are some pics. The ones in the drip rings are all g13 haze and are all about a month old.(too small??) The two bigger ones are g13 haze(biggest) AND red diesel (Smaller) from a previous attemp at growing. Do the ones in the rings look over nuted.
The single in soil is Durban Poison.

what temp is your res at? is your air stone working?

1 of my plants have started to do that tho just on the tips so far ,, will be keeping an eye out,,, thnks

res temp is 70 degrees or slightly lower...res is not under any lights or even in the room

What are the n-p-k ratios of your nutes???? and describe the funky smell....also are you using the recommended mixing ratios for your nutes????

npk is Aqua flakes (A)4-0-1 Aqua flakes (B)2-3-7 . Yes I am feeding them the recommended mixing ratio. The smell is musty/moldy like stail water. Thing is I've done everthing to ensure no mold. Last time I had that problem. Algae had covered my cubes. This time around my cubes are clean. Just the smell in the reservoir. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP. At this point I think the best thing to do is to flush out for a few days with really weak nutes and put some fungicide/Algicide in the hydroton to kill any shit. Then resume w/ fresh nute res. I dont know...If I'm way off LET ME KNOW. Thanks

oh.....before anyone asks. PH is between 5.8-6.2 Res temp -68-70 Room temp 70-76 3.5 inch rockwool in hydroton. 30 days old. EC 1.0-1.2 Light is 1000w daylight eye hortilux

The two bigger ones in soil are being given fox farm grow big. 2 tbl spoon per gallon....ph is 6.5-6.6 There's this sudden yellowing happening in the center of the leaves. Weird, both plant did that at the same exact time.

OK...try to keep your ph in your res. as close to 5.8 as possible, the water will have a musty, earthy smell, as long as it is not sour or putrid, you should be ok. change out your res water, cut your nutes back to 1/4/ strength...check your roots and make sure they don't feel slimy....add about 4 tbl spoons of hydrogen peroxide to your res. then 1 tbl spoons per day after to keep algea and root particles cleaned out...also what type of water are you using?????

Go get a bottle of garden-safe fungicide, about $4.00 at walmart, this will get rid of the mold and white flies and such....

I'm using RO water...I dont want to check the roots. I will damage any that have grown out of the rockwoolang into the hydroton, right? 4tbl spoons of h2o2 sounds like alot. I only using a 20 gallons in a 25gallon res. All i have is the 3% h202. How much of that should i use for twenty gallons? also i here only to add it in an emergency type situation. Is that what I'm in?

as far as the fungicide...i have some physan 20...whats the best application, the instructions say not to put them through any irrigation system ie water pump.

Iclean mine once aweek i put15 ltr in and it just last 1 week another good idea is clean your pump filter.That collects all kinds of shit and it smells so bad or put a second pump in your reservoirnot pumping water to your plants but to circulate the water in there it works i had same problem but i use vitalink a/b good growing.

4 tbl spoons 3% h2o2.....it is not to much I do this every time I change my res water, this is the first ,application then go to 1 tbl spoon per day...........not familiar with physan 20, I have no idea ......and no don't check the roots if they are not hanging out of the cups....
