Fucking Vaporizers, How Do They Work?

Happy 4:20 all:

So, srsly, I have looked all over the internet more than once and have yet to find out HOW vaporizers work broken down into plain & simple English. Whips, cyclones, WTF is all this shit? :dunce:

I'm very interested yet very perplexed, and the vaporizer fans are passionate about the awesomeness of this product. I understand that (supposedly) one is inhaling less smoke since vapes burn the weed at a higher temp. After that I'm lost. So, vape fans, help a fellow stoner out and explain some of the terminology, how it works, etc. Many searches have provided little relevant, non-sales-pitchy information.

Hope everyone has a great 4:20, be safe!

They have a heating element which heats up to a certain temperature which is input by the user. Once it heats up to x degrees, it then turns on the fan to blow the vapor off the heating element (on which your herb rests) and into your body.

actually it's the total opposite of what you think currently. vaporizers don't burn the weed, they HEAT the weed to a COOLER temperature than an open flame does. Most vaporizers heat the plant material up to around 365 F for marijuana. In stead of burning the plant material you are basically cooking it to a certain temperature until it releases the active ingredients sought after, in this case, cannabinoids.

Look into Da Buddha. Best investment I ever made. I love it. I use the vaped weed in alcohol tinctures called Golden Dragon. Pretty damn potent. :p

This is Da Buddha. I've had mine a little over two years now. Easy to use and easy to clean. :)
It looks nice but I dont see a temperature readout. The ones you wanna look for have an lcd that keeps the temp at what you set it to. THat more rugged and refined tho. Im curious to know how much that costed too.

Go with a new Iolite!

No flame! No nasties! Just pure thc vapors.

Super easy to use incognito. I tell people it's a "smokeless" cigarette. (dumbasses)

Butane fueled. No odor and a hella high.

No more, "Is that MARIJUANA I smell in your car, sir?"

Takes a few tries to get it right, but once you do,

OH YEAH BABY!

I make butter out of the leftover vaped material and it rocks.
