Frosty Calyx/orange hairs during veg?

Banana Mac week 6 veg running 24 hr. They are all showing what seems to be really frosty calyx around the area I topped them. Any advise? Anyone seen this before? I hear it could just be genetics but I’m unsure.

They're just pre flowers. If they've turned orange they probably just got damaged if there's no pollen source nearby.

If you're on a 24hr light your plants could be showing signs that they are ready for flower...or you might just have Auto Flowers Mate....they'll flower under any light cycle...just watch closely if you see a massive stretch within the next week you might Autos...

@JonnyGrows hi my friend thanks for reply. Most certainly not autos because the genetics are clone only and I’ve sourced them from a reliable source. I guess you could be right with the point that they are showing signs ready to flower but never seen this before myself. Whatever the weather as long as they not looking like pollen sacks to anyone I’m happy! Always struggle to tell the difference myself.

Clones from established mother plants will also go into flower faster at 12/12 switch than a seed plant. Same applies to pre flowers showing up sooner.

Nothing to worry about w/ that. I'd advise against the 24hr cycle though - 18/6 is plenty for veg, your electric bill will thank you too

@bluemagicman appreciate that homie. I see what your saying bro but I’ve tested my theory many times before and more light in veg always acheives More yield and bigger buds for myself! I do fully understand the benefits that come from 18/6 also :)

Yeah, its a style thing, darkness has many benefits for plants including transpiration and root growth though - but hey! thats just, like, my opinion, man - your garden not mine

Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man. - YouTube
