i fucked up when i first purchased my cfls (before i read anything about color spectrum etc) so i just bought a bunch of random 26watt cfls from wally world. come to find out all 7 lights i purchased were 2700k i just recently purcahsed 2 5500k cfls because i cant find single or double packs of the 6500k cfls anywhere 5500k is the closest i can get

my question is for growing 2 plants at a time will 8 26watt 2700k cfls 1 40watt 2700k cfl 4 27watt 5500k cfls and maybe 2-4 3500k cfls thrown into the mix be adequate light and color spectrum to bring 2 plants from seed to harvest? unfortunatly i have to work with what i have and can only afford to purchase maybe 2-4 more bulbs i already have 9 2700k cfls and 2 5500k cfls any opinions would be greatly appreciated

and my seedlings are about 3 days old how far should i keep the closest cfl away from them and should i have all of my lights on at this point or only a few? cause at the moment have 11 cfls 2 of which are not turned on and the closest cfl to the seedlings is about 1 inch (the seedlings have sandwhich baggies over them misted with water to keep humidity up and they seem to love it) unfortunatly ill have to remove the bags soon cause they will get to big for them.....the biggest plant (which was the second to sprout) is now officially bigger than the first to sprout and the leaves are pointing almost straight up towards the light and are getting big the smaller(first to sprout)plant is still looking very healthy but the leaves are not pointing as straight up as the other (now bigger 2nd to sprout plant)

and i am using miracle grow about how long should i wait to use my 30-10-10 fert

With CFLs you are in a constant struggle to keep them as close to the plants as possible without burning them.

You have enough light, just have to be creative to keep them close throughout.

Thats half the reason I like em
Girls are always happy when you pamper em, right?
I'm always checkin on my plants
makin sure they're happy.

You should keep the lights about 2 inches above the tops of the plants. And as stated before, you have enough lights for 2 plants.

One thing I wouldn't do is use any ferts until maybe theyre about 3 weeks. That MG has time release nutes, so I'm not sure if adding ferts is going to be healthy for you girls.
