From cfl to HPS

I have a tv cabinet ive made into my stealth grow, ive been using cfl, ( i have a journal) and just bought a 150 watt hps today, let me know how everything looks, if i can make it better, or if everything looks good, thanks all.

I wouldn't use less than 250W hps but u got come cfl's so cool and leds suck idk why they even have their own section lol
 
I don't have either so I guess I'm not suppose to be here. However, since I stopped for a read I just as well ask a question. This thread is not LED per se. The Title is LED and other lighting. What is other lighting:?:

Probably exactly what the forum is described as "Growing with LEDs / Inductive / Plasma etc."

i thought the same thing, thats why i posted here, i figured hps was "other" cuz there is no hps sect. so suck it amaximus!

You know, that is a neat grow space you have going on. A few suggestions. When I use round cfls I make a reflector. Most recently, those cheap aluminum turkey pans for like 2$ at the grocery store work wonders, buy the extra deep ones. Also if you come across some money, I would advise buying; 10w red leds, 10 watt drivers, and some heat sinks. Doping up a grow rooms red light content is the fastest way to ensure thicker harvest, especially in a all "Kalvin" lighting scenario.

Amaximus, I think he was doing a playful, "Suck it Trebek!" style 'suck it', not a "I'm going to rape your mouth" 'suck it'. He's just a grower man, relax.

hahah " suck it trebek" hahaha im dying... actually, i have ducting im going to cut into reflectors that i had been using for my cfls before i got the hps, and whats hella funny,is i bought 2 red cfls and 2 minutes after i got em' goin, they fuckin blew up haha. but ill figure some thin out.

idk if you meant to be an asshole, but you were the first view and first comment on this thread telling me how i shouldnt be posting here, even though it isnt only specified to led. and you saw my post. i said i had just bought this light and switched over today. you say i should get led even though i just bought my hps. idk that just irritated me and made me think of you as a lonely forum bully, and if you dont consider yourself one, dont even reply, just leave my thread.

You bought those red colored cfl's???for what a house party?? ..............so you say led's suck but you bought red color coated cfls instead..........WOW/ ill be nice.......good luck:P
