Friendly 12/12 from seed - Micro pot / Party cup - CFL competition / battle

34 days old today 5 days in flower

thx im trying lol The 12 day old plant was a seedling that i gave bloom nutes by mistake at day 2 shultz bloom plus 10-54-10 @ 1/4 strength im experimenting now with stronger doses to see how it goes.

hell yea lol. Man the one I entered in this contest is getting crazy huge, 2" in the pas 36 hrs. I got roots trying to form all the way up to its true leaves. I am afraid to transplant into a different pot a tiny bit bigger to cover then up. Any suggestions?

All my others are min of 12" and started 12/12 on the when they were 6-7" 8 days ago. My tallest is right at 16" then the one mentioned here in the battle is pushing 14", 1 inch of growth just today!!!

I transplanted my girls 3 day into flower and no stunting or shock occurred,and you need to cover them roots either transplant or toss some dirt on em cause light = no good for roots.
I think my plants are about the same size but hard to tell cause i LST and i like it that way.Some strains will get root bound in small containers so transplant when too big just be very CAREFUL.

Then I will loose the battle! Lol..I will pick up another size pot tomorrow. I i covered the roots up earlier today when I first noticed them.

Also, my other plants are soo close to showing sex, so much swelling going on, it looks like they're ready to bust lol.

Having plants at multiple stages gets too confusing. Unless you have a log attached to the pot its going to happen. I did the same exact thing about 6 weeks ago. Same food 1/4 teaspoon per gallon. Next day a couple of leaf tips turned upward and crispy brown about 1/8 inch. After that I did not notice anything until it was an advanced problem. Potassium def all lower leaves had spots all over and growing yellow around the spots. Somebody with good eyes probably would have seen the problem a few days before I did. There was no quick response to my treatment and within a week every leaf on the plant had spots. This is one of the last better fan leaves it had.
Unless I blow the picture up I cannot see the spots.
I got it turned around but not before every leaf on the plant was affected.
Every fan leaf gone. Should have dumped it but it was my first FIM and I wanted to see the developement even if it is lousy. Today it is covered in bud sites. All leaves are small. New growth is good. Old leaves all have spots but the yellow turned back to green. It has now been 3 weeks since it has droped a leaf.

It had 3 nice tops at just over 3 feet. I bent the tops and tied them down. It looks like a small bush now under 2 feet and the tops did not turn upward. Still it looks as though it will produce a little.

It currently shares space with my contestants. The fate of my contestants may be in question. I need to get new pics a magnifying glass and update tomorrow. I love what I just saw for growth but looks like issues. So, update tomorrow.

Also does this bud look like it`s ready too harvest soon it`s on day 122 .
It had too reveg from a tiny stump in the ground because , I broke it at 2nd node 6 weeks into grow .
Tell me what ya think just gave it allot of black molasses.

How long should I let it run ? .

Update: Week 2 from sprout

Sprouted: 08/12
Strain: skunk hybrid (Shorty) aka Hamburger Helper Hand (hermie bean)
Pot size: 1/2 litre
Soil: Fafard 1-PV Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss (85%), perlite, starter nutrients, wetting agent & Dolomitic limestone. pH range: 5.5 to 6.5 after wetting.
Nutes: Straight Seaweed
Lights: (1) 68w 6500k, (2) 42w 6500k and (2) 26w 2700k

She's really picking up the pace now!!

Oh wow, nice goin everybody ! By the way, has anyone heard about blue or purple ak 47 phenos ? I saw Antti's grow with ak 47 and his plants grew light blue in flower .

Update

I've got good growth but looks like the same coco problem I have been unable to work around without coco nutes. Has to be a way to feed in a coco mix without expensive nutes its just a matter of finding the correct proportions.
I added some lime this time and the problem seems to have came sooner. Plants look good until you get a good view of first leaf on bag seed.

I approve, although I hope you plan on buying some serious bulbs for flowering. Atleast 1 105 watt cfl, 2 would be even better, hell as many as you can buy.. lol buy one for each plant haha. use what you got for side lighting and you'll have some seriously nice plants! They're looking good now but later on it'll be hard while budding.

But are they really worth the 40 euros? And are they actually 125w? Lumens aren't even mentioned on the site. There are even higher cfl's though. What do you think about these guys ?

I don't even see lumens like you said. Can you Buy from 1000bulbs.com perhaps? that's where I got mine for 35$ each. I don't know how much in euros it would be and probably extra shipping also.

I just started a batch of beans. Ill get in on this if its still open.

I just started 2 different unknown strains with cfl's on 12/12. One was planted in a small 5.5" pot on 8/21 and sprouted to 1" tall on 8/24. One was planted just a few hours ago haha. Could I get in on this? It's only my second grow, but I'd love to see how I stack up!

Update

Its only 2 & 1/2 days since last pics but I think an update is in order. Rather than wait for new growth and thinking about the last coco leaf issues I did what you all would say is rather stupid. I took a maxium effort to stop leaf issues or kill-um. I prepared a tea for foliar feeding started to spray and decided screw this. I dipped the plant tops and drenched the soil. Growth explosion but I think the bag seed retaliated. If you look at the top of the plant on the left


at only 19 days I think it turned into an auto flower. To complicate matters more the bag seed bastard is growing balls.
