free seeds laying around?

I tend to go for attitude's free seed offers when there's like, 12 seeds free, so I have a huge collection of seeds that look like they are winners, but I have a tough time deciding what to grow in limited space and tend to grow the ones I bought first, and even then I have leftovers. A couple times I tried to grow the free ones but they ended up bunk seeds, mainly TH Seeds Burmese Kush which has failed me twice in germination. Anyone else that has this problem? I'm sitting on about 20 freebies from WoW, DNA, TH Seeds, and other places and I'm wondering, have any of you had any surprise successes from free seeds, and if so which ones? The only one I've grown so far is a dinafem blue widow that in it's 3rd week of flowering and that plant is a friggin giant, and an exodus cheese that I have lst'd that is also huge for an indoor under cfl's only. It has about 8 branches that are above 2 feet so hoping for a nice turn out from it.

i just started a burmese kush..it germed just fine...but after breaking soil the seed shell isnt open at all...its about 2 inches tall and still not open...i tried cracking the shell myself but no luck there..and it was planted about 2 inches deep so i dont think that was the issue. and im about 100 harvests or more into growing..so its not a new grower mistake..first time ive had this happen.id say theres a good chance most of the freebies are old stock and the breeder will have banks run promos to get rid of the old stock...that way they can sell more seeds to them.

I have 3 freebies going and i just harvested one freebie yesterday. All from dinafem. got blue widow, white siberian, moby dick going. Just harvested the Fruit automatic. I had good luck so far with these.

you have a World of Warcraft strain? is it supposed to addicting like crack or something? lol

I've only gotten 2 free seeds from Attitude with my first ever order of six. I thought that was pretty cool. So one of them is a budda red dwarf and it is real close to harvest at this point. I'm happy about that cuz nothing else is in true flower yet, so early smoke is good smoke eh! More than this however is the opportunity to try a plant that I would not have ordered otherwise. Seems like a good strategy except for I checked on attitude for a description and found nothing nor are they selling any of this strain so other than just being nice, I can't figure the angle here. I would only buy a seed that I really want and have hopes of superb quality. Deff not into bag seed. happy for the experience of a dwarf variety though and for a ten inch plant, I'd have to say that I expect a dry weight yeild that might rival full grown plants that have not reached thier full potential. Feelin ya about the space though and even though i have cloned the wee wady I don't think the strain is going to last too long up here in my own private Idaho

I order a 5 pack and wound up with 7 free seeds, 5 of one strain and 2 singles of two more.

So far I'm 2/2 on ordered, 2/2 on the free 5 and 1/2 on the free singles. The last one looks like it will germ, the end is kind of bulging out. Only been 48 hours. I'll give it another day before I have to go with another for my 6 pod. Hope I don't end up with 7 plants! LOL

I have the blue widow growing amazing right now but it's the best of all the freebies I've had. I had the fruit auto growing but I had started like 6 freebie autos and kept the 2 strongest and it wasn't one of them so I didn't feel bad about it.

That's exactly what both mine did, both from seperate promos with Attitude. The last one I had 6 seedlings and the other 5 were happy go lucky and the damn kush wouldn't open. I tried prying it open it just wouldn't go. It ended up dying and I opened it and it looked fine, I guess just old seeds.

after looking at my germination area...thinking of the environment...i figured out what causes the seed shell to not fully open...really high humidity and high temps. normally warm temps and higher humidity is just what you want...but if its to hot and too humid it seems to keep the shell attatched. kinda like when you walk outside and its humid and your shirt sticks to your skin...same thing. i took the pot out..put a fan on the seedling and started misting it with water...now the shell would not come off the seedling for almost 3 days...after 4 hours of having the fan on it and misting it...the shell fell right off...so if this happens to other people that seems to be the best method...never pry the shell off...could damage the membrane.

^^^LOL. damn near all the free seeds i get from the tude has germinated and some even turn out better then shit ive bought

Well the freebie Cheesie germed a day or so later. Taproot an inch long over night. Looks anxious to catch up to her sisters!
