The nice things about Fox Farm fertilizers is that I have never had to adjust Ph. It's pretty stable in soil and coco. But yes, couldn't hurt to double check.

I use Fox Farm nutrients minus the solubles. I mix the nutes into water, check pH, adjust pH, recheck pH, adjust and recheck if necessary. The water I use has a pH of 6.6-6.8. Once I mix the nutes into the water the pH drops to the low 5's. I adjust the pH back to 6.6-6.8. I would always check and adjust pH when mixing nutrients. It's quick, simple, and would make troubleshooting easier.

I'm having good results with Fox Farm nutrients so far. This is my first time growing so I have nothing to compare with and I'm still figuring out the right doses for different strains but it seems to be doing the job just fine. No complaints here.

I use the nutrients every other watering according to Fox Farms feeding schedule. I've been starting at about 1/4 strength and work up to full strength if the plant/strain can handle it. I'll have to check my log but I don't think I ever went full strength with Grow Big. Since some of my plants developed Mg deficiencies I've been using Cal-Mag Plus from Botanicare along with the Fox Farm nutrients.

I just follow the feeding schedule to the letter. The only difference is that I use the Botanicare Pro Grow organic for the first feeding. Less chance of burning the young plants. But after that, I use them all, solubles included.

I never have trouble with the Big Grow but I always have to raise the Ph on Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom. But that just me and my city water. It's different everywhere. Good Luck.

1/2 tsp diltuion to 1 gallon ration and you will never have any problems. i live by that rule and my friends live by that rule with the 1/2tsp it give your plants enough nutes every time you feed it. i say this because i really really think fox farm under-rates there products. if you use nothing but grow big, tiger bloom and ocean forest all those mixed together are like watching family guy, south park and the simpsons duke it out. its amazing. don't mind the last part im just .............

I think you might be right. I have been expiramenting with their products myself. I think the under reate them to. I mixed all kinds of different ratios and had basicly the same results. But if you mix like they say the Ph will be low on Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom.

i used tiger bloom and its great for hydrophonics and depending on the size of your resv. you will never run have a difficiency problem show up for the micronutrients. i use light moderate nutrient soulution mix and try to go for the 6.7

i think 6.8ph wise is honestly the best too low or high and some nutes can be blocked espically some of the micro nutes.

I have a $500 pH unit that says under fox farm's schedule that with MY water...
MY municipal water source is HARD WATER and reads at 9.0pH+...A little high, but this is good...

2 tsp of grow big and 2 tbl of Big Bloom = 6.2pH

2tsp Grow big, 2tsp Tiger Bloom and 1 tbl Big Bloom = 5.4pH ---so i add 1/4 tsp of hydrated lime that brings it to 6.5..IDEAL

With soil....take your time...be cool..if it doesn't get better you'll know. Be slow with the ferts...be cautious at first, an learn the nutrient needs of your plant.

whether your growing a tomato or a medicinal herb, the plant will tell you whats best..so take it breezy easy my brotha...

Used correctly and to schedule...Fox Farm Organic based nutes will grow you some fatty's

as a matter of fact...theres 1000 different brands that will give you some baseball bat sized buds...

Just give your plant what it wants....
