I have a 2 gallon pot and 2 1.5 gallon pots that i flushed yesterday with 1 gallon each (florakleen added). My question is, is this enough? Realistically is putting that much water to flush necessary or could i be safe with flushing with just a gallon of water mixed with some florakleen. The run-off of water towards the end was clear water (no more brown). If needed, ill do it again with another gallon per plant.

A proper flush would be 2-3x the amount of soil you have...so if it's 1.5 gallons..you would use 3-4.5 gallons of water. What you want to do is to use 1/3 of your water to allow the soil to moisten up, and it also will allow any hardened build-ups to start to loosen up, and let it sit for about 10 minutes...come back and repeat until water is used up.

Repeat this process every time you flush before harvest.

Ok thanks for the help, can you tell me what is the reason for using molasses or honey? Do I need to do that and why and When?

I don't know about honey...but molassas is an age old trick used as a carbo load, and also for flavouring, it helps bring out the natural terpines. You can start to use it at anytime during the grow stage. You would use the molassas every watering at 1 TSP/Gal. After about a week you should also start to notice {if in flowering}, that the buds will start to swell up.

in that 2 wk flushing period, how many pure water applications should you be making? If you're adding that much excess water that it leaches out, it's quite a bit more water than you would use than during the normal growth cycle of water/nutes, therefore the soil is much wetter than normal.

that being said, when flushing, say your last flush was several days ago. if the soil is still wet or really wet from the previous flush do you repeat the flush or wait till it dries out more?

bottomline, how many flushes do you need to do during the 2wk period?????
