makes it taste better for one if you've used fertilizers and what not. molasses fattens buds.

Its pretty basic, i mean do u wanna smoke bud and a bunch of ferizlier and nasty shit ( of course this is without curing) flushing the soil gets rid of all this then all u gotta do cure and dry and u have pure bud

I don't understand how I'm going to know it's time to start flushing- that it's a week or two before harvest. What's the window of time normally where your buds are 50/50 cloudy and amber... is that just a few days or a week or two? Or, do you start flushing when they are all cloudy so that a week or two later they've also gone to enough amber to harvest? See what I'm asking?

And even then, someone was saying in another post that their lower branches always ripen earlier than colas. Even if it's the other way around(colas ripening faster) what do you do, flush; harvest the ripe buds; then fert a little to help the buds still ripening along; then flush again?

buy a microscope and check the trichomes out. cross reference that with the harvesting/curing FAQ. then, get a camera and start posting pics of your buds and someone on this site will be able to tell u when it's time to start flushing.
