The flush with Mountain Dew was not great, as the shit smelt like dew even after a year in the jar...I made oil out of it
The flush experiment did prove to me that there was no difference in taste between flushed and non-flushed.
The flush with boiling water did have a noticeable difference, as it did change the flavour profile.
