Flowering?

Is this plant in flowering mode yet? I cant tell what is what...yes, I have looked at plenty of pictures. Never saw a plant grow, just smoked the end result.

Planted the monday following christmas. Switched to flower about two weeks ago.

3x75w CFL's
1x68w LED

Do I need more light? Thinking of replacing the CFL's with 100w LED bulbs. Just not mature enough yet?

Just starting to hit maturity. Looking good. You can add the led if you want to.

thanks man. trying to keep the grow as fast as possible, hence the short veg period.

I kind of screwed up last week, over watered and over fed her. She got all droopy and leaves started turning colors and drying out. Flushed her with a boat load of water and things are starting to slowly get back together.

LED bulbs? I'd probably stick with cfls. Or get some real leds for the money.

IMO If youre going to invest in LED, do it right. Unless maybe you want to reuse them in you house lamps later on.

I bet you have enough light tho already, just try to surround the plant with the light.

That was the idea, get them for this grow, then put them in the light fixtures. Plus, I dont know how long I will be doing this for. I dont want to go drop 300 bucks on something I might only use once.

Was going to pick up some of these: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Philips-100W-Equivalent-Daylight-LED-Light-Bulb-2-Pack-462002/206923041

With something like that it says:
  • Energy used: 14-Watt (equivalent to a 100-Watt standard incandescent light bulb)
Does that mean its essentially a 14w bulb?

What size pot are you in? Getting root bound will slow you down. Youll want to be settled in to a good pot before you actually do start flowering.
5 gal bucket, maybe even trimmed down to 4 gal. Make sure drains really good

You can get 5 of these for about $100 and set of red bulbs (5pack) of the 3000k flowering for $20 2 day shipping on amazon.. you have to move the lights though about every day :( but I've gotten 2-3 oz per plant testing them for budding... not worth it to me but was nice tight lil gram nuggets.31HTGNHgXOL._SY400_.jpg

Its easy to over water with a small plant in too a large pot. It is recommended to start smaller and transplant up.

It means it uses 14 watts of pwr. Not the most ideal color for flower. You want a warm 3000k range

I was on a good schedule, then Big Bloom came in the mail and I got over zealous and was like "screw it, going to water even though I watered a day and a half ago." Then that mistake happened. Fortunatly this community is awesome

So is it the 3000k spectrum that is good for flowering? Or the color red that is good for flowering?
Sure i will be corrected on this if wrong but want to say 3000 (more blue) is veg 3500 (blue/red) is middle of the road good if you want to veg/flower under the same light and 4000-5000 (more red) is for flower
