Flowering Question =]

okay i just planted 4 1 week old seedlings outside,
but where i live im only getting 13 hours of day..

can i flower from seed outside right now? :blsmoke:

Flowering outside is a little different from inside. Just because you have 13 hours of sunlight and 11 hours of darkness doesn't mean they will start flowering. Outdoor flowering has a lot to do with the days getting longer and shorter as well as the hue and position of the sun. That's what I know.

Alright, so it's the beginning of the growing season. Plants generally start to flower when the days begin to get shorter and shorter, which is the summer solstice . Right now the days are still getting longer. Depending on how long your plants flower for they should be finished anywhere from September to late October. Hope that helps.

no im saying can i put them in sumthing or take them inside at night( the 12hrs off)
and bring em back out once the times ready.

would that work?

then i brought em inside for flowering with 6 40w CFL's.

or would the lght intensity change too much the plants stretch

I'd wait till it shows leafs when you start to flower and no that amount of light will not make the plant strech, the reason why the plant streches is because the light is not close to the plant thus it grows up to find the light

alright im just waiting for them to simply...groww. :D
but wont coming from the sun (10,000 lumens per sq. ft.)
to about 6-8k lumens per sq feet.

wats gunna happend?
