Flowering question

I was just wondering.. When I switch to flowering do I start with 12 hours of light or 12 hours of dark? or does it even matter?

it dont matter. I know ppl that gradually go from 18-6 to 16-8....and so on and so forth untill you have reached 12-12, and i see no difference in their grows then mine. I just switch the timers to 12-12 when the lights go off on the last of vegg then change bulbs. gl

another question. when would be the soonest you'd start flowering? my plant is 12 days. i did 7days of 24 hour light and 5 days of 18-6 so far.

Its not backed by any facts but Id rather not start an argument when its already been done. lol it may have benefits depending on how you veg.

it depends on alot of things...how big do you want them, is it a strain that automatically starts to grow pistils after a certain amount of time. you can start 12-12 right now if you wanted by my advice is to let her beg some more and develop some nice roots. BIGGER roots mean bigger fruits.

do 48 hours no light then 12-12. I've been doing it for over 2 years now. I get faster flowers and better results in a shorter amount of time, even with a 10 week strain.

It's bagseed so I'm not sure what it is. Currently the third leaf set is getting going but the nodes arent seperated yet. (thinking about topping it, would it be too soon?) I want small plants less than 2ft but I want a decent amount of bud. If I start her into flowering right now I probably wouldnt get much right? a half if i'm lucky? lol

Im not too sure about topping, last grow I topped 1 for an experiment around the 3rd weed of veg and everything turned out good. yea if you flower her now you wouldnt gett too much of a yeild. why not try to LST her, it generally keeps the plants pretty small, and you will get lots of buds

when done right 12/12 from seeds can yield 2+oz per plants , you can start flowering at anytime, it's up to you. Personally I like 12/12 from seeds, amazing growth, quick results.
