FLOWER FLIP

That would work. But I believe they designed the filters to have air sucked into them - hence the cloth pre-filter.

So @allgrownup311 - for your next grow, were you gonna go with the back bar set-up that I had recommended? It works well with those long skinny lights.
They can be ran suction or discharge. The filter does not care and the prefilter can have one end sewed up and used like a bag prefilter in the carbon filter. The blower prefers to blow into the carbon filter with no restriction on the intake/suction side. It's in the AC Infinity instructions. They don't say to sew up one end of the prefilter. That's just common knowledge thing that's sorely lacking now days. My career was 30 years with pumps/blowers, boilers, chillers and there controls as a manufacture rep/tech.

I already moved it when you said something. Gave me plenty of room!!

Awesome!! They are crowning nicely.

And I see that you didn't drop the exhaust fan and fuck up a bunch of tops along the back right portion of the canopy - like some klutz I know very well accidentally did! ( Who was that, I wonder? 8-) )

You are starting Week 3 today, n'est pas? I can see a few of your lollipop candidates. They are much smaller and are starting to get buried by the main canopy.

It's French ... and it's very loosely translated in the above context as "are you not?" I am not fluent at all but it's one of the phrases that I remember from Mme. Kirouac's French classes I took in high school ... many many years ago!

Nice, I wish I were fluent. Start of week three today actually!! I will lollipop today or end of week to smooth canopy out. Hopefully she cruises along now!

End of week two and flowers are starting to pop and glisten. Letting them ride for now. The training and topping kept them low enough for the light, but the stretch is still on. Moving along nicely! 100% confirmed females from in-house genetics!! 1B1F70A8-170B-4241-B249-701ABB3E192E.jpeg2F67F4BD-8B9F-48B0-BF24-340B0982A47B.jpeg

How about this ...

... hanging both of them off of the BACK bar. Opens up the area directly over top of the lights. The spiked hair-do of the VL heat sinks are not obstructed by either the fan or the filter.

I wouldn't rearrange them now with the 8 square feet of plants you have going below cause you know it's not going to end well.

But it might be worth it before you start your next grow.
You lost your filters outer filter? I would at least put an old sock or t-shirt around it otherwise it’s gonna get gunked up, clogged, & gone through wayyyy quicker. Then just wash the sock when it gets dirty, which will greatly extend the life of your carbon filter

I see at one point you must’ve had one.

Also, I’ve seen people take the pre filter and stick it on the inside if you want to blow into it instead of sucking through it

Thanks ... no, I still have the dust filter. I took it off to wash it then sent those ladies into flower before it dried. And with my penchant for accidentally dropping shit, I didn't want to try and put it back on with the filter above that plant. Been there ... done that.

I will slip it over for the next grow.

Just tie a t shirt around it then till the next grow. Easier than getting that tight prefilter over

Shit looks dope bro! How tall were the plants before you flipped and how much vertical space do you have? I'm doing just about the same thing a couple weeks behind you (6 plants in a 2x4). I topped mine to have 8 nodes each to manage easier, though. How difficult was setting up the scrog?

Getting ready to flip these in about a week, week and a half. They're about 12in now. Judging by your answer I might have to expedite this process lol

I have a short 4x2 so it’s only 5ft tall. I train my plants pretty hard to keep them low. Daily I tie them down more and more. I didn’t even let them get 2 ft before flipping because this strain has tall stretch. I am halfway up my tent right now at week 3. My advice is flip now and start to scrog, although you’ll get a lot of backlash on when you should have started the scrog. I found with my situation, it’s best to start the scrog as soon as I flip. It filled it out perfect. You can see my pic when I flipped. This is a side pic from yesterday. I keep them really short and bushy. It’s my preference.2FC695C1-22CF-459B-A56B-4FF060C5C695.jpegD75639E9-C83B-46F6-A34A-92802D9BA5EF.jpeg

Week 3 of flower coming to an end and i can already see a big difference in these genetics compared to last grow. At week 2 I had zero sugar from growers choice seeds but these in-house genetics seeds are already frosty. The smell is already strong as well. Very excited for this grow. Still keeping ppm around 1200-1400 with botanicare hydroplex starting this week. Cruising along nicely2F7A1DA6-B47A-46A4-89F9-E3D5589106EE.jpeg3A669165-23F4-4C1F-8D7A-6B03AC42CB4B.jpeg

Week 3 has ended! Starting my hydroplex and bloom together. Cal mag and silica blast have kept most problems at bay. Small gnat issue but eco helped with that. 65-70 day strain so a long road ahead! Still in feed, water, water, water schedule. Thanks everyone for all the help. F7C344F1-F7ED-4BC8-B3B0-6499B6FF1893.jpeg

So two of my plants have Hermed. I know this is strictly genetics because only two hermed in the same tent as the others. No light leaks, temps are steady and everything else is legit. This wasn’t a big seeking strain from in house so I do believe it to be unstable. I’m not removing them from the tent as I’ve scrogged them and it’s week 3 already. Ima let it roll but just a PSA. Super high hopes for this strain but we shall see how it ends up! By the time I caught it the sacs were already busted open. I actually saw it because of the pollen on leaves so I figure it’s entirely too late anyways. Will post pics when I get home, was too mad last night to take pics lol!!

Heading into week 5 and man does the tent stink. Two of the plants are giving me some problems so I had to flush them. Had to take them out of scrog to get them out to flush so it messed my canopy up some. They are trying to bounce back now. The rest are cruising along and colors are starting to change. 1A15DB46-BF50-4DE4-BBEE-9957F76565A6.jpeg827F6EE3-2185-4156-AB5A-9D747A6F40A9.jpeg
