FLOWER FLIP

Was wondering if I should go ahead and flip to flower now and start the scrog. These are 2 gal pots. I think if I flip now it’ll fill out the 2X4 completely. What do you guys think? Flip now and start scrog, or one more week in veg with a scrog? Loud cake by inhousegenetics 1C5152BE-91CF-406A-94CF-DC62EABEE6B7.jpeg

I would flip now as well. You are correct - you will be surprised how filled your tent will be when the stretch has stopped and those crowns start beefing up. What you haul out of there should allow you to roll a few Cheech N Chong sized spliffs.

( Or at least the RAW 1 1/4 cones ... )

... So just let me grow up? I was just going to use the scrog to weave for the first stretch of flower and then let them stretch up during the final stretch ...
Yeah ... you have enough tops and a SCROG might over crowd the space. A SCROG is easier to weave when the plants are smaller. Have some structural support netting ready for a few weeks down the road in case they wanna flop over.

10/4 bro. Sounds good. I’ll just throw my scrog net towards the top during the end of stretch just for the support. Thanks

not too late at all

shape the plants. push the branches down, flatten the plants out to fill your tent. do this every couple days and they will take shape. when the tent is 90% full, flip it

you wont hurt em. make em do what you need em to do. they wont talk back! lol

Flip and let them stretch into the net. It’s all you can do at this point. Use the net as support, you are going to need that down the line regardless. I set mine up late with 5 plants, but I was in a bigger space (3x5)

I started another grow in a 4x4 with 8 plants.. after sexing I was left with 4 girls. I put that net in late too.. may not be exactly how it should have went, but the support will help a lot.
Don’t mind the smaller plant on the lower left.. it’s just small lol wasn’t big enough to train like the rest. Must have been the runt of the pack.

Looks like it came out nice. I’m going to let mine stretch a week or two and then add netting for support. Mine are looking ok so far. 18A1E595-4DD2-4FC0-BA12-69249FFA304E.jpeg

Now that I’m looking I don’t think I’ll have to scrog. Just support is all ill need I’m thinking. I hate the 5 ft height on my 4x2. I’m getting a taller one for next grow. It’s awful with only 5 ft of room for lights and exhaust and fan. I’m making due for now though.

Yup ... didn't think you would need one.

Had a touch of that issue when I grew with Viparspectra blurples. But when I upgraded, I bought lights that are of the longer and skinnier variety so that those hard things like the frames or heatsinks don't get near the exhaust fan and carbon filter. The fan and filter can do their thing without affecting my ability to raise or lower the lights.

What light(s) are you using?
