hole e shit bro

'ideally i would like to run about a 200 gallon res, with a 4 hp chiller, keep the water at 35 degrees, and run a system of hoses to 6-8 air cooled reflectors, with a 4 inch fan and an icebox on each one.. you could easily keep temps well in check, run a coil of hose in your res to keep that cool, and take care of the heat from a c02 generator.. '

you dont think that would be super overkill with a 4hp? LMAO i totally dig the overkill anyhow anyway...thas how we roll :hump:

i guess i should just shut up with my scrawny plants haha

ya it would be overkill but it would allow me to cool everything with one unit, and leave room for expansion

Cash flow it with multiple 2 hp chillers for backup and modularity compensated for and get the 220 version so you draw less amps. I'm still gonna keep the ac as backup too. Does anyone here know how to measure dissolved oxygen level (DO). DWC dudes talk about this all the time and all I have is air stones thanks for the input.

Is it even worth measuring or is the airstone system just a defacto. Paying 200 bucks to see how much (DO) is in my tank doesn't seem worth the effort vs lining the entire bottom of it for 10 bucks.

hey flo i'm going to be building a smaller copy of this set up this week. do you have any thing that you would change about the construction ? I'll also be growing Gdp probably around 28 want to keep it legal you know. Oh yeah do you trim up all the under growth while there in flower or just let 'em grow.

i do trim up some of the undergrowth, and all of the growth on the backside (away from the light)

with vertical grows, the stuff at the bottom gets light as well, so you dont have the same problem with underdevelopment as you do with flat grows.. you do have that problem on the branches on the back side however..

if i could do it again, the only thing i would really do differently is to slant the gutters a tad more for better drainage, and build two seperate systems, so that i could have 4 sides around each light, because i am losing light since only 3 sides of the system have plants.. i did add the ebb n flo in the middle, but if i had just closed in each side, it would definitely yield more

na i am pretty much settled on my current setup..

i just cranked up the co2, and it stays 1500 ppms when the co2 is on.. i keep the temps at 87-89 with the ac, and the rh at 45 with the dehumidifier..

at lights out i run a 6 inch can fan to bring down the temps about 8 degrees and keep fresh air in that biatch

the babies look greaaat, ill update in the next couple when i re arrange them and trim em up

wut up Flo.

Looking like at day 7 into flowering if im correct. Hope to see some pics soon.

couple questions:

you running full nutes yet? whats the ec and ppm at for your first week of flower?

Do you run any root accelerator during any process other than clone or seed?

And did you top when they were veggin in the setup, or does that cause them to sag cause of the weight?

Bet your getting excited about the harvest coming up. can wait to see how it turns out.

P.s. Got my nutes today went with canna aqua veg and cannazyme will do the aqua flora when i switch.

sup bro

yea i am running full nutes, and with co2 i run them a lot harder than i would normally, because they can handle a lot more.. i usually would be at around 6-800 the first week of flowering, but right now i am a tad over 1000 ppm in the big res, and about 500 on the clones in the ebb n flow.

and i do run roots excelerator the first two weeks of veg to spur them along.. im supposed to use em the first couple weeks of flower too, but i opted not too because there is not too much more room to the roots to expand to. i am using it in the ebb n flow for the first week of flower

no i did not top them, but i did trim them up a bit.. i will be trimming about day 10, and making clones out of the shit i cut off, but these guys are natrually bushy.. and i know they look saggy, but leaves naturally grow towards the light, so they angle down towards the light.. it looks wierd even to me, but you can see the ones in the ebb n flow point straight up.. ill put some pics up later

and canna is a great brand.. definitely a steup up from gh. just watch your ph, and i would buy some calmag also, because you tend to get a mg def. when using RO water with canna (it is formulated to run with tap water, but RO water is much more ph stable)

ill try to get my lazy ass up and snap some pics tonight LOL

ya i got an LG 65 pint dehumidifier that works great.. has a built in RH meter, so it clicks on and off by itself, and the rh has been steady at about 45 since i put it in.. i WILL post pics tonight after i trim them up LOL
